FAQ has become completely useless..

Oh man, do I love this site. I love it...so... much...it...it...the... flames... flames... flames. On the side of my face...breathing...breathless...heaving breaths...

But seriously, my ham-handed-dufus-ness would be downright hazardous to me, my neighborhood, and my family’s financial future, were it not for the FAQ. That’s why I have this script bookmarked:

javascript:Qr=prompt('Search Site for','');if(Qr)location.href='http://www.google.com/search?&q=site:'+encodeURIComponent(window.location.hostname)+'+'+escape(Qr)

It returns a google search of whatever URL you’re currently on. I’ve never figured out how to use ANY forum search function, so it’s a real time-saver for me.

I'm loving the food-porn direction this post is taking in the positive direction. To continue that theme (and I'll just simply say FAQ FTW foreva!) (and please let's re-direct this) I am so fortunately partnered up with a lady who loves to cook, and here's  one part of last night's meal. See attached.

Okay, so you're thinking, "Asparagus"????? yeah. me too man. I freakin' hate Asparagus. But you know what? It was freakin delicious! Baked on pastry puff, homemade sauce, topped with sliced parm. Holy crap. Yum. I ate the sh*t out of it. And heirloom beans marinated all day on the side. (sorry no picture of that, but they came in the "bean box" that gets delivered monthly of heirloom beans).

I am so stoked to have a housemate that loves to deliver this on the daily. (and I contribute too, but more on the eggs or grilled meats side of things)

I'll serve up some pictures on this thread of gnarly meats next.

I come here for information & inspiration and what do I get? mama’s mangoe chutney recipe – why would I expect anything different?

Yet joy abounds as this rolling agglomoration has persevered even as I spun out and have now - years later - mushed back in again.

It’s stupendous having so much historic and current information from multiple perspectives/contributors made available to this finger-pecker by simple keyboard hammering; clearly I would be further behind the curve without this resource.

Where else would I realize the definitive difference between riviera and marine blues, or how to properly mount my E21 Recaroes?

Sadness also abounds - but what I really want to know is: where will I find a set of those Mahle soap-dish alloys I’ve been jonesing for since the ‘80s?

And does anyone have a driver-side door latch striker, mine seems to have ventured to some other parallel universe.

Steve K. Can we start a new section devoted to 2002 Recipes ?

Thank you Leucadian for noting the link to mango chutney

Just demonstrates the vitality of our site

You knuckleheads would still post them to the general discussion section v. recipe section...

There's a section other than General Discussion?

Site note, WTB Lower Steering Column Cover in great shape.

Does anyone have one?

Not sure where else to post this... Am I in the right place?

Within each web-based car venue, there exists the perfectly legitimate faction of the so-called "checkbook mechanic."  For that person, She (using the politically correct and gender-inclusive pronoun to this otherwise male-dominated website), She may truly appreciate the ability to simply purchase the object of her desires, rather than wrench.  Ergo, the following content is ever-so-respectfully submitted to the Supreme Administrator, with the hopes that He will not wield His powers to effectuate the FAQer Cancel Culture.  Happy shopping/check writing - this Mango Chutney is delicious.  Respect the Plan.
