Wait, is this an unpopular 2002 opinion, or do you really hold it?

1. Bottlecaps on a 02 suck.  Bottlecaps on a E30 suck.  Bottlecaps on any car suck

2. Best look for a 02 is steelies on a +1 application. And yes LOWERED.

I think a few people (I am not naming names) are confused about the point of this thread.

Just to reiterate: This is YOUR opinion or heresy that you think is against the norm or unpopular.

Uh, I still think Ray's comments are against the norm.

No need for upgrades!  I think the BMW engineers had the 2002 perfectly sorted from the start.

Loose: Not tightly bound. Subject to motion.
Lose: What happens when you are spell check dependent.

1975 Malaga. It is rusty and  springs an occasional leak.  Just like me.

1. Numbers matching and all original holds zero water in my car valuation. (but I'm keeping my numbers matching block for those whom it does!)

2. Period-correct performance parts are the coolest parts.

3. Modern conveniences that don't detract from aesthetics are totally acceptable. (AC, Stereo, Power Windows with hidden switches, power locks, etc).

4. I love my Recaros. They look perfect.

5. a 350mm wheel is the perfect sized wheel. a 320 isn't that hard to turn, and also very fun. Go to the gym if you find either to be too difficult.

6. 15's are the best looking wheel size on an 02.

7. Polyurethane all the things.

8. Internal combustion is a dead-end.
