I had no luck sourcing the copper bolts locally or from metric fastener suppliers.  I ended up buying them from the BMW dealership.  Try harder to find them somewhere else.  The dealer is too expensive.

 

Belmetric.com has most everything, but they didn't have the copper bolts.

Walloth & Nesch sells a complete yellow zinc nut/bolt kit to rebuild an engine.

Or you could gather all your stuff to be plated  and send them in when you know what you want and have all your parts that need it. 

Are you going to tear this whole car apart? If so, you will have a lot more parts  to be plated and powdercoated.

yeah, my car is missing that too.  I did buy one a few years ago and plan on installing it, once the 02 sensor bung is installed, for the gauge I bought five years ago.  no cracks in my manifold yet, thankfully... although I bought a tii manifold four years ago, to use as a replacement... seeing a pattern?

 

Apparently, it adds stress to the manifold, not to be supported at the transmission.  I wonder if that could have encouraged the crack you have.  

 

You might consider welding a bung in the down pipe while it is out.  Exhaust analyzers are very useful tuning tools.
