  1. Yeah, clickbait, I know. Guilty as charged. So here is the thing, I was driving the Tii that you all were absolutely critical in my getting back on the road today and it occurred to me that I had not said thank you for the help in quite a while You all are a fantastic set of humans that I've not really been participating in the forum with because the car just keeps running and running well. I haven't really needed anything, so I've been focused on other less reliable marque projects. So very belated best wishes for a Happy New Year, thank you for all of the help, and I appreciate being part of the community here even if I have been rather absent.
  2. Huh - posted a couple days ago that I got these installed and it fixed the issue. Not sure what happened to that post, sorry. These were the best $5 ever spent on a BMW. If you don't have these - get them and install them (after letting them sit in near boiling water for 5 minutes). Thank you all very much for the discussion and information.
  3. Just picked my replacement ones up today, fingers crossed. I'll report back, but thanks for all of the discussion as always. Happy Friday.
  4. Hi Steve - thanks for the fast reply. I just realized I am missing the "kernel" rubber piece, let me get those on and report back. Might be that simple. If that isn't it I'll give that good suggestion a try. Thanks/
  5. Hi folks - very VERY belated happy new year to all. I have a road trip coming up and would really like to get my doors to stay properly closed. They fit fine - which is the good news. The bad news is if you close then lm they don’t stay fully closed so the door sits proud of the body. I know door fit can be a pain but in my case it is just staying closed as the issue since the alignment otherwise is good. When I lean on them it’s all good but hard to do that at 70 mph. Old door seals so new fluffy ones isn’t the issue 🙂 Any ideas that you can throw my way? Thanks!
  6. Good morning. I will have to double check next time I am at my warehouse, but I believe they’re 13’s but not sure off hand if 13x5. Still available.
  7. Tires have less than 200 miles, rims came on my ‘74 Tii when I bought it. Don’t know much beyond that. They are true and quite light.
  8. Brand and size etc is in the pictures, basically like new with less than 200 miles on them.
  9. They should bolt right up to any 2002. I have to look at shipping, not sure what it’s gonna cost to get them back east and we’ll have to see if I can find boxes to safely ship them in
  10. Set of four matched vintage 13 inch rims and tires. Tires have under 200 miles on them, professionally installed and balanced, basically just bottom on and you should be good for 30,000 miles. Basically either rims or tires are free at this price. Pick up only please. Thanks!
  11. That may have been in a 911 but it’s not a 911 seat. Looks like an LS that has been recovered.
  12. And hello. And hope you’re having a good weekend. And sorry for being so rude as to just jump in my response without saying thank you for the help.
  13. Nope! Just metal. Didn’t k know I was missing anything.
  14. Hello folks, hope everybody is doing OK at midst of the craziness. The drivers door on my 1974 doesn’t quite close flush to the body, and it looks to me like the large post on the body of the car needs to be adjusted inward a little bit. Before I go and try to loosen that up I want make sure that that’s actually the right way to do it. I know that there’s a latch adjustment as well but that looks like it’s already in the right place. it’s a little perplexing as to why the door fit is off because the car is super straight and there’s zero accident damage that I’ve come across. Thanks!
  15. I am local and interested in the seats if they are driver or better quality, will send a PM. Thanks
  16. Floor wax and dessert topping too? Does it read accurately? I hope you know that was all in fun above Nick!
  17. Might we have a basic failure to communicate here? Grin
  18. Took the 15 seconds and googled Roger’s TII, sent the link to my friend.
  19. Thank you for the replies. sorry if I should know this already but is Roger’s a specialist that I should be aware of? Located? i am going to be very sheepish if I if I managed to restore my car and missed out on a key supplier.
