I bookmarked these guys a couple years ago. Haven’t been on one of their tours yet, but they appear to be very active. I think one of our BC members joined a drive with them from Vancouver to Squamish. Don’t recall who it was but maybe he’ll chime in about the group.

Not BMW focused, just classic car tours in general. I need to keep a closer eye on their calendar and sign up for something.

cool, thanks. that looks good!

The BMWCCCA is the successor of the BMW Vintage & Classic Car Club of America.  Back in 2008, the BMWVCCCA had a road tour in California and stopped at the Concord dealership.  I happened to be there with a camera for some reason and posted shots to the FAQ from that stop:

Here's another shot of their tour itinerary:

looks like there is no BMWCCCA PNW tour in 2019.

What makes you think that?

This email I received this morning after asking if they had a date yet...

Hi Joe,

I’ve put that one on hold (see my message in the recent newsletter). I would much rather encourage members to hook up with existing events like yours.
Please keep me posted as to what you’re planning up there.

Best regards
Dirk

I'm betting most visitors (and some members) to this site don't know about all the great resources.

FAQ Articles

The Buying guide(s)

Archived project blogs (not just the current ones that are shown when you log in)

I'm looking forward to learning more about my 2002 to be more of a contributor, versus the lurker I am now.

That part's actually easy- start working on and using your car.  Seldom are they just a drive it and forget it 'appliance' like most modern cars.  Use it, drive it, work on it, change it- that's when the opportunity to contribute shows up.

The biggest bit of bullshit circulating is some A$$ thinks he can put a Holley EFI into a 2002.  No way that will work!!   All kidding aside this is the best forum I have been a part of.   People get called out on a lot of bullshit here, which is what I love, and have been privy to, but always in a kind and constructive way.
