Who is Sick of Esty?

Okay, I have been a 2002 enthusiast all my life and a Tii owner for 34 years, well before the Internet when parts were plentiful.  Even then the Dealer did not want to bother with these little cars and these days parts are simply getting much harder to find.

Now along comes a valuable resource like DenverTii and you are tearing him down?

Bryce has helped so many including me where he has also gone way, way beyond the typical customer service. I mean he's been incredibly helpful and given me lots of extra time which he did not even need to do.

Then on the other hand, there is Esty, and I mean what a piece of work! Ever notice that she is at the very center of every tumult where she outright slanders people. Then quoting other outlandish statements as if they were facts to actually create as much controversy as possible?

It is so malicious that people seem to be afraid of her or immediately take her side without ever listening to facts.

Here's what I know, if you have a problem with Bryce, give him a call.

Interestingly if you want to talk to Esty there is no number on her website? Curious to know too if there is any last name that anyone has.

It's really amazing to me that people even listen to this woman.

The most important question here is who coronated Esty as Queen of the FAQ? Oh, excuse me, it was Esty herself.

Forgive me if I don't bow.

Paul Ruiz

Hey Pablo, that's a bit harsh, don't hate. 34 years or not show some class.

All I can say is that anyone who is new to the faq might be thinking twice about joining up.

i doubt a heated thread or 2 is going to scare away an ardent enthusiast...there's much much more to see here than the occasional train wreck...it's unfortunate that it happens but it does serve a positive purpose...hopefully it serves as a warning to potential carpetbaggers and shysters, it helps cleans out the thugs, and shows the new guys our neighborhood watch in action

There was a poster on the This Old House web forum about 10 years ago, I think her handle was leslie9039 or something like that.  Just like esty, she was the last word on everything. It got so old, so quick, as it has with esty.

Just like esty, she started some shit that escalated and dragged the whole forum down for months, to the point where the good posters just dropped off to escape the negativity.

I'm not averse to outing somebody who can't be trusted.  OK, esty has done that, and now it's time to just give this a rest.  If she is so hell-bent on exposing something that we should all avoid, she should go with:   cigarettes, religion, assault weapons for 4th graders...these types of things that do way more damage than one parts guy in Denver.    Bryce will hang himself.   Time to shut up esty.

I do find it odd that Esty critiques other vendors -I agree she a great resource, I just feel she should not venture into the fray when discussing others that supply our community
i really like a heads up. i have been ripped off/treated poorly when buying things, or services on the internet before. i'm relatively new here but have owned 02's for almost 20 years. i like the way eurotrash put it

Here's what can happen if we don't communicate to the group, exactly who the bad seeds are. Search the name 'Brandon Browder' here, under the forum search....  See the thread with 154k views?  That's my brother getting ripped off in 2012 (not here to rehash the errors made..).  Now look at the last thread on the page, that's Clay getting ripped off by the same guy in 2007.  Just enough time for people to forget...  After this happened to my family, I swore never to let the con men thrive on this site.  I/we do what we do for good reason, you should thank us for paying attention.

My take from this, based on the 3-4 buyers who had good transactions with Bryce, is that if you are local or within driving distance you might get the deal you're looking for.  Otherwise, don't trust the parts photos or his phone conversations.

These Forums always have these issues . 914 world, pelican, the Samba . There is always a parts monger who falls afoul of the site. Let the buyer beware . I dealt with Bryce. I found him very pleasant but didn't like his sales tactics . I chose not to do business with him. What I don't like is having to wade through all his ads on the classifieds. I consider him professional vendor sales . The Subaru forum has a separate section for those guys with feedback . That's whats needed here.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
