Just thought I'd throw together some ideas to hopefully inspire the more talented graphic designers

 awesome do this with the tombstone in white w black letters,and paint the oceans 'bmw blue' like the other one

I'm really liking the badge with the "GLOBE" image. This captures the idea that FAQ is a worldwide community, really nice idea.

Maybe the globe can be incorporated into the center grill design.

I like the tombstone designs, especially the white with Roundel-Globe. What would it look like with a small border on the tombstone?

Really don't like the globe setup, just would not translate well onto a grill badge.

 

OK, I tried a few myself. (No racing on TV.) These are only conceptual ideas. Maybe this will help find the right direction, or, someone may come up with something totally different. -Raine

I am in.  Nice idea...

I like number 1 or number 4 (reading from left to right) in this proposal. The grills are rounded properly and the font is easily read.

I have incorporated all of my designs in one file. Note that #1 is shown three times, and all different designs are numbered. Several people have asked for variations, some I have already done (included), some I haven't yet. If you guys decide to pick any of these I can then further develop it (colors, fonts, etc.), they all need fine tuning are not for reproduction yet. I can provide the final art as vector-based art which most likely is the one the vendor would prefer. What I can't do is make changes and alterations at everyone's request ;-)  Will someone take the role of a coordinator?

 

#15 and 17 may look too much like the roundel.
