Need to Speak with the Elder of the 02FAQ Site

After looking at other classic sport car sites, it has been gving me ideas for ours. If we could (with in reason, especially $$ concerns) wish for things that we always wanted to do for our site, what would you want?

Of course, want to talk to "The Elders" as well.

Just a Saturday morning coffee musing.

Justin

The question is not that we broke a few rules or took certain liberties with our female guests.

We did ;)

They should be a sticky.

;-)

+1 for simplicity! It's the best thing here that there's no separate sections for each damn issue like on other forums.

EDIT: I prefer even Otis' pics in same section :-)

I agree with this!

I like the simplicity of the FAQ, Forum search is horrid... We also need to publish more FAQ's. There arent enough...

I do like the simplicity for sure. It's just that I looked at the 914 World site and the MR2 site and it seems so fluid. Some sub-links I was thinking are:

Vendor Section: good, bad and ugly

Sub sections for particular projects: BBK front/rear, 5 speed convertion, welding sheet metal, coil overs, efi, S14s, body work, turbos, M20. etc etc. Or better yet have one for engine, drive train, brakes, interior, exterior, AC, radio. (This would be so good for parts for sale or looking for)

Coupon sections for deal of the months for guys like TEP, Ireland RealOEM, etc.

Just my .02 cents.

oh- I say don't mess with it too much. Simple, able to easily post pics,

not too fragmented- it's good.

Make it all Bummerforums or r3vlimeted segmented, I think you'll lose people.

Flash for flash's sake is off- putting.

Can't stress enough how nice it is to see a clean, simply laid our forum. Please don't try to make it too fancy.

The only suggestion I'd make is allow a way to post full photos that doesn't require linking to them from another site. I know you can upload attachments, but it requires you to click on them to see them in full rez.
