  1. tjones02's post in NE1 else did this Tii cold air intake mod was marked as the answer
Yes the stopwatch numbers don't lie but what of the resultant air fuel mixture? That's about the only thing that Klaus didn't test for his article as it would have been prohibitively expensive back then...
Use an air/fuel meter to see the lean spots created by the aftermarket air filter. The air flow and intake pulses are matched to the injection pump. Sean has done similar tests with his wide band O2 setup and found that the stock Tii Kugelfisher pumps simply aren't tuned for an open element air filter setup, and there's no easy way to do so without injection pump work.
Ask the Kugelfisher guru Dave Redszuz, he'll tell you the same thing.
    I rest my case.

Yes, you can be assured that you're not the only one.
That's a replacement driveshaft. Think of it as a factory update. The bolt holding the halves together is the same design as the E21 driveshafts, and the bushing in the nose is also the later design. Good news is that later nose bushing is still available whereas some of the pieces of the '02 one are not. Needless to say, for the long term I like these replacement driveshafts.
