I have a set of MSW 6"x14" et13 that I recently removed the black background paint.  I am showing the before with 175/65r14 and will be installing 185/65r14 very soon.

I will buff out the wheels and I'm trying to clean up the center caps.

I have the same wheels in my parts bin but they are 15x7 ET 26. They are currently painted gun metal gray but I plan on repainting them silver.  These are my cheap Craigslist score and I do have the center caps.  I'll probably put them on my E30.  The second pic is courtesy of Keith Kreeger who had repainted the same wheels from gold to silver with a can of rattle can Wurth paint. The third pic is the same wheels on Bo Black's tii.

Deciding whether I stick with the Ruspa's that are currently on the car, or go back with the Opel Kadette Steelies for a while.

Both options are beautiful and distinctive. What a choice!

You do realize your MSW wheels have an E21 offset. E30 14" bottlecaps have an offset of ET35 and baskweaves have an offset of ET30.  I would go with 195/60-14 tires, 65 series are too tall for a 2002.

Actually, a 185/65-14 is a correct diameter size for '02s... The math works and I've used the size myself. Keep in mind that the 65 aspect ratio works because of 185 being narrower than 195. Also, the commonly used 185/60-14 is much shorter than the stock rolling diameter.

Tom, plug 195/60-14 or 185/65-14 tires into this speedo calculator http://www.paspeedo.com/calculator.htm and there is minimal difference between the two tire sizes. The real issue is that 14" performance tires are going the way of the dinosaur. A few years ago, Tire Rack had nearly 20 tires available in 195/60-14, now there are only six tires available in this size and no performance tires are available, just grand touring tires.  In defense of 185/65-14 tires,Tire Rack has 27 tires available in this size but no performance tires are available.

Quite the 1st world problem...  :D

Both are fabulous in my opinion, but push comes to shove I reckon I would stick with those Ruspa's.
Rare and oh so cool!  B)
