I’m in for meeting at 8, but I’ll be rolling in my newfangled E28 iron, I’m having trouble getting Penny running well.  Y’all need to get your cars out of Patrick’s shop so he can fit her in ?

2 bucket wash and rinse. Then a light buff. See you tomorrow.

Really thought I would be attending my first tomorrow but fate has me still on the outside so I 'm envious of those who are able to attend what looks to be  a great event.

What!  Half the reason I was coming was to catch up.  I'm still keen to visit though.  If I don't go to B&B tomorrow, a visit may be in the near future if you are willing.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,
