They went on fine, uro brand. The door will need to be adjusted but I have the car on quick jacks still so I’ll wait till it’s on the ground to adjust anything.

Well, I set out to re-locate the oil catch can that I installed last year. In the midst of it, I noticed 2 scary things.

1. My carb was loose! All 4 bolts on the 32/36 not even finger tight. I've never touched them since buying the car last May. Maybe I won't need to re-jet it after resolving an apparent vacuum leak!

2. An alternator bolt was touching the fan belt! Another area I had not ventured. Apparently the bolt snapped at the nut and worked its way out. I had only just started hearing a shrill sound the last time I drove it.

Still working on my minni tii logos that will be applied to or imbedded into the forward belt molding. In conversation with a silver smith on casting it in silver, tarnish issue there, rhodium plate would solve that, not an option. considering the spray chrome process over the plastic printed tii. I simply want to differentiate from the "real tii" cadre, by getting that designator off the back of the car.
