    A lot of questions about the manifold. It is NOT a Cannon. That is a factory 1972 mani that has been expertly modified to take the 32/36. It has been media blasted and is ready for paint or use as is. it is in very good condition. Manifold is SOLD

    Update: I found the other strut cap while packaging the struts so this is the complete kit. 2 struts, 2 self locking nuts and 2 strut caps.

    Same as many of you here; too much force plus too much fatigue equals aw shit moments. I was rushing the finish of a bumper tuck on my 74, trying to stabilize the bumper on the workstand with one hand and applying a lot of torque to the ratchet with the other while bolting the compressed shock back on. Too much wobbling led to the socket slipping off. My right fist flew across the exposed corner of the bumper end, those things are sharp. Cut the first knuckle of my index finger to the bone. On the way to the doc-in-a-box to have the gash welded back together I decided all they would do is clean the wound and tape or glue it back together. So I stopped at the drug store and bought all of the material to do the job myself. Genius me, I spent twice what the copay would have been.

    These are new old stock BOGE Turbo TS strut inserts. Great for the purist. I have a pair of struts with original packaging but just one strut cap so you'll have to reuse one.

    Anybody do a black headliner? I finally found an installer I trust and he is reluctant to do the black headliner install. He has done them before and says it really makes the car dark and claustrophobic. I wanted to simplify things with the black headliner, black console and dash, with marine blue seats and door cards and blue and charcoal flecked carpet. Anybody have experience with this?

    I've got the same sypmtom with well adjusted valves and no apparent issues with the valve train. It is a definate "knock" which appears to eminate from the top front end. Engine runs sweet and smooth but burns a bit of oil on start up. The car is bedded down pending a head job and bottom end rebuild but I'm curious to hear what you find out. I'm doing the rebuild regardless but would like to know.

    $100 per driver for the full track day at Little Talladega near Oxford Alabama. We need a few more drivers to make up the required numbers This is a Test and Tune event so, no agressive driving and we are limited to 5 on the track at once.
