  1. So, what it sounds like is that either the 215 or 228 will work with the 5-speed. It is really a function of which flywheel is on the engine. Correct?
  2. I did that Chris but dang if I can tell the difference between 180 where my torque wrench ended and all the force I could find on earth. c.d., I didn't get anywhere near the specified torque when I put them together. Don't know why but there was no way I did all of this then. Paul, IJS 229 ft lbs, come on!
  3. After I replaced CV boots I noticed some play in the rear wheels. I put the rear end in less than 2000 miles back with all new bearings. The castellated nuts were loose. How in the flip do you put 229 ft lbs of torque on? I put 170 on and hope that's good enough because 230 is not possible!
  4. I need number 3 in this picture. Does that come with the shift linkage set?
  5. Thanks c.d. It has been ordered. I thought it would be a standard part in stock; that's what I get for thinking!
  6. I'm at the parts store. Quick, what size is the ring gasket from the exhaust downpipe to the intermediate muffler?
  7. Mike loaned me a new oil pressure sending unit to replace my leaker. Over 400 miles home and not one drop burned or leaked. Unfortunately on the way to work this morning something gave way under the shifter and took all of the linkage with it. I'll be placing an order with Blunt once the forensic audit is complete. Email me your address Mike and I will senda replacement OP sender. Thanks also to ClayW, Dudley, some dude named Chris and the other dude with the pick tool that helped install my brand spanking new windshield. And I can't thank LSU Tim for taking the old WS off my hands;-) Oh, and Brad, thank you for the thought. It was really nice of you to offer your vintage rear window trim piece. Great trip this year.
  8. Looks like you could use this. Good lip and proper shift boot.
  9. Looks like you could use this. Good lip and proper shift boot.
  10. Very Good to Excellent. Going to the Vintage?
  11. I need these in very good to excellent condition with no extra holes. hobibill@gmail.com
  12. World only does pre-builts if you ship them the hardware from your old panels.
  13. Welcome Tyler. Love the pictures in the snow. I have a jadegrun '76 I bought for my teen. I hope she ends up liking it...I think the jury is still out on that.
  14. Thanks Skip. Are you joining the Cherohala at Tellico Plains? What time are you departing Cleveland TN Thursday AM?
  15. Looking at Scott Sturdy's caravan listing, I don't see any that go along my route. I am departing Birmingham, AL Thursday AM and going up through Chattanooga then HWY 64 at Cleveland TN, HWY 19 at Murphy NC, I-40 west of Asheville and on to Winston-Salem. US64/US19 is a beautiful drive along the south edge of the Smoky Mtns. Do any of these points coincide with your route? If so I would like to schedule a rendezvous.
  16. I had the same issue. Found wires were installed backwards on my front turn signal housings.
  17. Who in the heck bid $100? For eight fasteners! They are nice and all, but $100?!?
