  1. Hey Mac, If these are still available, how much to 35173? Thanks.
  2. I also note that in photos 2 and 3 above there is a ground wire disconnected (brown wire with ring connector). That would do it too.
  3. You will also get this symptom if you have the turn signal wires reversed at the lamp housing.
  4. Huh, mine was only 750..but I had removed the front clip. Maybe those salvage yard scales are really accurate ; )
  5. email sent on gauge cluster and tach
  6. email sent. If these are the external wheel arch pieces I will take them.
  7. +1 grounded or crossed wire somewhere.
  8. I'll take both head gaskets. hobibill AT gmail.com shipping to 95173?
  9. I too find the water choke to be the most trouble free and accurate, it doesn't come all of the way off until the engine is warm.
  10. Outstanding! I don't have the 'nads to put my Talbot Berlin out there on the fender. Instead it sits where the factory mirror was and is next to useless.
  11. I had a "one blink" problem on the dash indicator. The front left turn signal would not blink and both filiments were illuminated. The left rear blinked along happily and the hazard switch cause all four corners to blink. Turns out I had the wires reversed on the left front light housing. Put the blue on bottom and grey on top and am back in business. I did the above mentioned fix but transitioned back to the OE flasher relay after I located this, the true cause of my malady.
  12. How does one burp the lower hose, pray tell Tom? Inquiring minds need to know.
  13. No info on the temps but I am curious what would happen if you unhooked the lower hose and stuck a garden hose in the filler neck. Sounds like a flow problem in the rad.
  14. I'm saying less than 300 lbs. from horsing this stuff around. engine: 150-175 tranny: less than 50 subframe: 50-75 depending on what's still on it.
  15. I'd say no to the trade. You have a reliable DD that is good in the snow and probably has good heat and defrost. To trade that away for a 40 year old car with questionable body work, heater box of unknown effectivness and 2 wheel rear drive is not a good deal. 02's are really affordable right now. Save your pennies and buy one in January when nothing is selling.
  16. I'm with you on this, most (ok, almost all) people would not be able to start the car. Heck, my kids couldn't even figure out how the door handles worked.; )
  17. two quick fun drives: lakeshore blvd east out of vegas, left on northshore drive, drive along lake mead to the valley of fire. 3-4 hour round trip from the strip charleston blvd west out of vegas, right on scenic loop drive through red rock canyon. 2-2.5 hour round trip from the strip. these are parts of vegas 99.5% of the visitors don't see, great scenery.
  18. Need a good one with no cracks, fade or melt.
  19. I'm already here. Will be viewing the concours event and participating the the drivers school at Barber. It'll be the absolute first outting for my project car.
