  1. 1973 BMW 2002 Classic BMW Coupe Great driving car, there is nothing like the 2002. I just don't have the time or money to fix her. Was in a minor roll over accident early this week, I didn't even get a single bruise in the incident. Check out the pictures taken today, the car was in excellent shape and only needs to be repaired. Would also make an excellent race car project / 24 hours of lemons car. Odometer shows 56k most likely 156K miles on it. Clean and clear title in my name. This round tail light BMW has some great improvements including: Ansa exhaust system tii distributor Weber progressive carburator. Upgraded seats and steering wheel. and KYB Shocks Comes with lots of extras including: Show racing buckets, original seats and e30 seats. E30 Rims as shown and original steel 13" rims. 2 Extra rear differentials 2 rear defrost windshields plus tons more. I will give the right buyer all the 2002 items I have including manuals and so forth. More pictures here: http://s885.photobucket.com/user/PanShovelGeo/slideshow/2002%20For%20Sale I can also send some before photos if interested. If you are serious about buying the BMW, email me and include you phone number to set up a time to see it. I am looking for the best cash offer. 2. Just waiting for her to get picked up. Big question is when do I start the search for another 2002?
  3. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I actually put her up on ebay. If you know anyone looking for a great 912 let them know the auction ends today. High bidder gets the car. http://bit.ly/NyS2ql
  4. Thanks for the suggestion. I don't have access to a lift, but because of your suggestion I laid on the ground and snapped the best photos I could of the underside. Hopefully she sells. G
  5. With a heavy heart I am putting my 1966 Porche 912 for sale. It is going to make the new owner very happy. Take a look at the pictures the car is very nice. (Not perfect, but I'm not asking $60,000 like they get on ebay) It will come with the '66 Illinois plates as shown. Get this vintage Porsche before the prices skyrocket like they have on 356s. She is ready to drive. $19,500 obo I will also consider a partial trade for a 2002 or E9. Please PM me with any questions. Here is a link to the full album of photos http://s885.photobucket.com/albums/ac59/PanShovelGeo/Porsche%20912%20for%20Sale/
  6. Bump before I put these plates on ebay.
  7. They are definitely older than 1988, the oval plates stopped being used then. My guess is that they are from around the late 60's early 70's. I got them as a set of three, the one I kept is from Stuttgart and going on my Porsche. They changed the code for Stuttgart in 1968 so I know that particular plate is older than that. Thanks
  8. Top to bottom is roughly 7 1/4 inches Side to side to side is roughly 12 1/8 inches Thanks
  9. 2 Vintage Zoll Plates up for sale. Rare opportunity. #402 $40 obo shipped #433 $35 obo shipped Paypal ok, email me at my username@gmail.com Thanks! [/url]

Paypal is preferred, but I can also take regular credit card via phone. Please email me at panshovelgeo@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to request a certain number in the run.
  11. You have lap belts right? It may be a little early in the morning so maybe I'm not reading your post right. This may not be proper parenting, but my understanding is that booster seats for school age children are used to make the shoulder belt sit in the proper place. Since I only have lapbelts my 6 year old sits in the back without any special seating. She loves it. Of course I remember riding in the back of my dad's Datsun 260z when I was her age. Yes it was a 2 seater and I rode in the hatch. Just my $.02 your mileage may vary.
  12. I was thinking about an SC just for the same reason, they are reliable. Can't go wrong with any Porsche (car) really. I have had a few in the past and was getting obsessed with getting a 356 this past summer. I had one in particular that would show up to every event I attended. I came to the realization that I was not going to afford a decent 356 anytime soon so I found the next best thing. A 911 with a 356 motor. My 2002 is still going to be my go to car, but the 912 will come out on weekends and special occasions. Congrats on your new car and welcome to the very small OBOP (Old BMW Old Porsche) club!
  13. I also just picked up a mistress. She needs a little love but will be standing tall next spring. '66 912
  14. Yep Im in, I drive the car everyday rain doesn't scare it
  15. Motorcycle trade? My daughter has taken claim of my current 02 so I figured I should start looking for a new one. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,57/page,viewtopic/t,361118/highlight,/
