  2. From NOAA (as of this afternoon): Saturday: Snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36. Saturday Night: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 23. Sunday: Snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Sunday Night: Snow showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21. BTW, last Saturday conditions were fantastic. Partly cloudy and a breeze kept the snow in very good conditition will noonish. Oh yeah, parking lot and roads were clear. If the forecast is true, I'd personally pick another route. Can't make the Sat drive, have a good one and see you next time.
  3. Really? BMW lists each one as the same part number. The same EXPENSIVE part number. I can imagine some distortion occurring over the years, and some fitting better than others in a particular location, but it left the factory with 4 identical runner tubes. Thanks all for the insight and info! Paul Yes it is the same part number but the runners can be aligned left of right. I heard from others that the new plastic is not as durable as the old runners. Here's a picture of without the KF I pulled it when Wes Ingram did some work on the unit. I also replaced my lines at the same time.
  4. Caveat Emptor. Do a search on Bavarian Engine Exchange and read some of the posts and then decide. Just my opinion and I've had no expereince with them. Bavarian Engine Exchannge and Bavarian Auto Recycling share the same address. The owner has posted here before. Good luck.

  17. That's what I mounted. HF claims their 100+db - don't know if it is true but they're loud enough to let people know.
  18. +3 on checking the fuel pick up. there's also the wire screen on the bottom of the fuel picku p and small cone screens on the fuel pump and right before the KF. Good luck George and happy driving.
  19. Greg, For the oil temp the question is where to put the sender. Plenty of +/- for the tapping the drain plug or putting it in the pan. On the oil filter head for the tii, the oil line to the KF already occupies a good location. I put a tee in mine (i seem to remember getting the piece from McMaster-Carr along with various AN and/or NPT adapters). I've thought about changing this to simply tapping the filter head (as i have an extra unit) but haven't gotten around to it. For the oil pressure, there's a M10(?) 2x post sender your can get (from e-gauges). get the 150lb. I can show my set up next week.
  20. The verboten screw will enrichen across the entire range. Mark and note the adjustments so you can roll back. is the cam stock? if not did Fairchild "match" the rebuild to the cam? Another thing to try would be to take the car to reputable dyno shop and get some read outs. That would tell you if the AF ratios are correct of if the WB is misreading. Good luck..
