A good friend of mine moved to Tennessee about 18-months ago bringing along his roundie “02”, he has not seen many at all, are there many out there?

He’s been to Nashville Speedway for their monthly “C & C” events several times, never mentioned see any other “02’s”, just curious?

There's a few of us around. I've been driving my '76 quite a bit while my E30M3's engine is being rebuilt. Old Hickory BMW CCA is having their winter gathering at Lane Motor Museum on the 25th, and there is German Cars & Coffee at Bavarian Bierhaus in late March.

I'm in Manchester, half way between Nashville & Chattanooga. I'm the scene hear.

Not sure I would travel to Nashville unless it was in a Sherman tank. I've driven in a lot of places and this part of TN is something else.

Wow- a Florida touring with ATS wheels! Sweet.  Looks like the parking lot for the Best Western Mid America fest.

Doug when you get there that’s when the “Scene” will start, will put you lot closer to the scene in Texas / Arkansas  and North Carolina…

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new
