Just the outer skin. We found that the window frames and cassette puts a lot of torque on the metal door frame, so we opted to keep that part metal. 

 

I just decided I'm doing exterior door skins for my orange car. Why not.

You attached 2 pictures. More pictures are missing.  You know what I am talking about. Are you teasing us or what? Most us of are 50+ and I don't have any daughters.

Instant gratification is too commonplace these days. We need to take a step back and like our fathers before us, learn to appreciate the fruits of our laborious toil - or whatever Socrates said. 

 

It's very toxic growing up an an Amazon Prime era. I can click a button and have something overnighted from Singapore. And I don't fully appreciate that because I don't know what it was like it the past. It's my "normal".

We took on a very optimistic project about 3 weeks ago for a friend....carbon fiber trunk lid and front bonnet for an E9 Coupe and we finish that project today. To say the last three weeks has been a whirlwind would be an understatement. I've probably put in 40 hours just sanding molds to a mirror finish so the carbon fiber parts pulled are perfect. 

This car will make it to Rey Rivera's open house/bbq tomorrow in San Juan Capistrano. I have had no time in working on the orange car. Besides that, I rather drive it when it is all one color.
