High ride height - springs or ?

Again, there is either no engine or the wrong springs in that car.  No amount of binding lower arm pivot and spacer is going to make it THAT high.

 

Unless you stacked 3 spacers on each side, in addition to the stock one- maybe.

No, I haven't - I'll give that a shot. No driveshaft yet & it's been raining, I'll be concentrating on the car that's in my garage currently so that I can get this one inside out of the weather. It's been sitting outside for several years, but that's no reason not to get it inside asap now.

no, Marshall, it's not even the rolling factor.  Now, the skyhooks on the front bumper mounts, THOSE might have something to do with it.

I've observed this particularly with Bilsteins, but it's a subtle difference.

 

BarrettN: Please post pics of the strut tops and of as much of the strut assembly  you can get from underneath.

 

Anyone else: Can the sway bar be connected incorrectly in a way that would cause this? Just wondering if it's related to the 5-speed swap.

My brother also suggested that I check that possibly the tops of the springs are properly seated in the upper spring perches. If the weather cooperates I'll be looking at it this weekend. My main focus is getting the other car I have out of my garage so that I can get this one in.
