After 18 months Pandemic delay I finally received the interior side panel and louvers for my A/C, easy 90 min install and fitting with mods 

 

For the last 18 month 

 

Now it’s “Dealer Installed” fresh looking 

 

a little tighter than Non-AC but still comfortably clears the feet, not that I ever sit on this side

Trick sparky wire tie backs made from 40 cents worth of pipe clamps from the local hardware store. Some of the cheapest jobs make the biggest difference. ?

325is that we’re just rebuilt as new when I bought them 6 years ago, super comfy

Ok!  I hear ya.  Now for the record - my previous owner did mine!  It is a bit of nostalgia.  And yes it is not a match!  As my buddy says - that is for the next tear down!!!

I stared at the pictures in my phone as its being slowly restored at a local body shop.  I miss her.

Pulled that passenger window regulator this afternoon.  Window would not go up all the way.  Turns out that 5 or 6 teeth are worn down.  Also found that the regulator connections are pretty floppy.  Will be looking for another (passenger side).

Bought and acquired the "Malaga" 2002tii from another member here on 2-2-22.   So the 2002Tii bought on 2-2-22 has been aptly named "TWOEY"!

 

Today I replaced both the fuel sender and fuel pump gaskets, refreshed the e brake bushings, replaced the steering wheel and gave her a wash!  

 

So much more to do but Twoey drives and runs great! Up next.....register so I stop driving illegally.

Finally took the time to do a deeper dive into the car and investigate everything.

Excited to see no big worries at this time. So next step is to upgrade to disc brakes in the rear, then get some new tires and start doing autocross soon.

Continue to check goodies off the list. HVAC system removed in this car…Added neoprene covers for the cowl last night, finalized ride height, and threw on 15x7s + proxes R1Rs. Suspension gets upgraded once I can find a place that has everything needed in stock…good times
