  1. Every other light in my car had no issue, but for some reason, that's exactly where my voltage issue showed itself first! I'm sure it goes deeper than voltage, but it was definatley a symptom. Just look at the board and see if it's burning itself.
  2. I had this same issue (74 tii). Top right passanger side led array stopped working. Turns out it was fried! Voltage regulator went bad and it got over volted. You may not be able to "swap bulbs", however, you can move the arrays around. Try plugging a different one into that location and see if it works. If any other one works when it gets plugged in, check the bad board to see if everything looks OK. If it doesnt work when it's plugged in, bad wiring!
  3. These are incredible looking! I can't wait to see what else you do! The exposed wood at the bottom is a great touch.
  4. Hey @Brandon, long shot here, any chance you have a tii air filter housing? Thanks!
  5. Hey Harry! Still looking to buy this. Not sure why, but the site tells me you cannot accept messages.
  6. Harry! It will not let me send you PM's. I would like to purchase this from you.
  7. Any chance you have a tii air filter housing?
  8. Hey @Brandon, would you happen to have a shift plate for an e21 getrag 245? Thanks!
  9. I installed a third brake light! As someone who hates electrics, it wasn't too bad. I also started the process to refurbish all the shifter bushings. the blunt kit doesn't handle the top hat bearing bushings at the bottom of the shifter lever and unfortunately that's where all my slop is. So, now I get to make some top hat bushings! The Colorado winter work list continues to grow!
  10. What an AWESOME trip! Gotta to say the shelving and storage looks fantastic. I have no need for it…but want it!! As for your time in Colorado, I have plenty of suggestions. Since you’re starting in FoCo from Utah, come over high north. That’ll give you some amazing mountain option like steamboat, Rocky Mountain National, Estes park (during elk mating season, can’t go wrong. Elk everywhere). But if you want a good windy road take Poudre canyon into FoCo, that’ll be enjoyable! Then you can hit the other stuff on the way out and south. When you leave Colorado and go south ABSOLUTELY go south west into ouray. It’ll be fall color change and million dollar highway is just amazing! For both driving and sightseeing. That area is called the Swiss alps of America, must visit. I’ve lived here my whole life and spend most of my free time in the outdoors. If you need any other recommendations while out here shoot me a pm and we can connect!!
  11. I am not normally a fan of tint on 02's but with your blacked our markers and the belt and knee trim deleted, that thing looks awesome! Great car! Everytime I drive twoey it just remind me that these cars are simply little Smile Factories!!!
  12. Pulled the electrics to it and no squirt on start up. So does not appear to be over pressure, just the electrics.
  13. I will 100% give this a try! I will do this first thing in the morning.
  14. Alllllright! I took off the air filter and found fuel all over the place. So I put some locking pliers on the CVS gas line and BAM! Car fired right up. Sounds like one cylinder isn't firing (which is probably 4 since it was the spark plug I found that was soaked). While it was running I unpinched the pliers and the csv started gushing! Turned off the car but not the power and it continued to run for 5 seconds till I pinched it again. Looks like I need to wire in a button, chain the oil and spark plugs. Thanks for all the help!
  15. Toby, thank you. You are correct, my phrasing was bad! I have done nothing to change the air/fuel mixture. I haven't touched the tuna can in over a year and had 0 issues until today. I will try removing power to the csv! Thank you!
  16. last week I replaced the steering link and drove twoey around town, everything was fine, no issues. Today, I went to start him up and lots of cranking but it wouldn't run. Smelled gas and figured it was flooded! After reading multiple posts and some old blogs on here I tried some tricks. TO MY SURPRISE! The car WILL START if I pull the fuel pump fuse (fuse 12). It will run for a little, then die.....as it should, it's not getting gas. I had some fuel in the air filter and around the tuna can valve in the air box, so my CSV is spraying. I pulled the plugs and they are fowled (which is expected I live in Denver and have it so it runs a bit rich) but I know I am getting a spark as it ran multiple times after I pulled the fuse. My sequence of operations has been crank, no turnover, flood. pull fuse, crank, run. Rinse and repeat a few times. Lastly, It ALMOST ran once with the fuse in, ran for about 3 seconds, then there was a huge sucking sound and it stopped. any suggestions, or places to start? I'm very confused about this one. PS, I am working on this thing alone so there has not really been any attempt at anything that requires two sets of hands or eyes. Thank you FAQ, I have been able to do more on this car because of you all than I ever could have alone!
  17. Replaced a super worn center steering link. The dumb yellow rubber/plastic bushings were too thick and didn’t allow any room for the cotter pin! So it was either crank ‘‘em down and mushroom the hell out of them or exclude them…..so I’m now running it with no bushings…it’ll be fine…..probably…. Replacing it didn’t remove as much steering play as I’d have liked…..so now it’s time to get to the steering box!
  18. I also live in Colorado, and I'm in the Patina camp! SHINY PAINT CAUSES STRESS! I have the sticker to prove it! I don't worry about people scratching it at shows when looking in, getting dinged in a parking lot and it allows to me be less worried when I take it out. PLUS! my touch up paint.....is nail polish...and it works great since the paint isn't great anyway.
  19. WOAH! I have never seen someone with the same Epsilon Super lights before!!! However, mine are bronze and desperately need a refresh! So much info can be found about all the other epsilon wheel (southernways) but I know VERY LITTLE about the super lights! I am currently missing a center cap, but mine do not look nice and flush like that! Are those after market? If so, where did you get those???
  20. I cut, painted, and installed a IE spoiler (I don't recommend - Fit is not great). Took Twoey to a Cars and Coffee, then subsequently met an Alpina! Took Little S@#t (Fox) for a drive, he may look unimpressed....but trust me....he was. But most importantly added a wonderful decal that explains my sunburnt paint!
  21. I am selling a momo steering wheel and original 152 hub. The hub is old and farely warn but still works. The horn did not work for me so may need replacment. Momo wheel comes with mounting hardware and momo horn button. The mounting screws are crap and stripped. I would highly recommend new screws. The wheel is in great shape and will get a great clean before leaving! 300$ OBO and the buyer pays shipping. Thanks for lookin!!

  23. Bought and acquired the "Malaga" 2002tii from another member here on 2-2-22. So the 2002Tii bought on 2-2-22 has been aptly named "TWOEY"! Today I replaced both the fuel sender and fuel pump gaskets, refreshed the e brake bushings, replaced the steering wheel and gave her a wash! So much more to do but Twoey drives and runs great! Up next.....register so I stop driving illegally.
