i'd like to purchase two sets.

just a note on logistics:

i was involved with merely shipping out the original dozen or so Alpina lines 2 years ago. it would be quite an ordeal for the uninitiated to box, label and ship out 48 or more sets.

perhaps that function could be split up between several folks???

Jerry,

I am happy to help. Located near Baltimore, MD

Thanks Bill and Jerry,

I appreciate any help I can get with this. Especially, since - when the sets arrive in a month or 2 - I will be in the middle of tax season, with very little time to spare. I will do what I can, though.

Not sure if this is a one time only production run but I am surprised at only 48 takers.

Anyone with a tii, may want to consider a set or two.

Just as a reminder, BMW is only supplying a very crude looking black flexible tube for the #1 cylinder and the word is, the #2#3 and #4 will look that way when BMW depletes their current supply of the white milky ones.

So if you want your tii fuel lines to look like the original ones, this is your opportunity.

Hi, don't care - I don't intend to do this lines only once. As I have to do this work incidently to my normal workshop jobs, it wold take a longer period to make e.g. 100 sets. Not convenient for both sides I think. Maximum 50 Sets per Order should be possible - depends on the time when you need the sets.

On Top, no littleness for Jerry and Bill (Thanks in Advance !!!) The 17 of A4 Sets which Jerry divided and sent out 2 years ago were enough - now 25 for each of them .... hmm

Now I will contact Dieter for all details concerning price and delivery to the U.S., please contact him for further details.

Regards,

Thomas

Hello to all, with best wishes for the new year from Germany

As you know I don't have a cpl. engine to test the lines here, only a model of the major parts.

You will see some photos following. The first one shows the space between the throttle lever to line #4.

I've noticed that this space is mainly affected by the distance between both points (Pump and injector). One Millimeter more/less distance means about 3-4mm less/more space of the #4 line to the lever.

So, could some of you take the exact distance between both measuring points as can be seen on the photos ?

In the example at the photos this distance was 402mm between the 6mm plastic line of cyl.4 (inside-inside, not midth-midth)

This is very important, so please check.

Thanks in Advance,

Thomas

Taking those measurements or pictures with everything in the car is almost impossible.

However, the distance between the lever and my #4 line is very small, no more than 1mm.

The total length of #4 - measured with a slighly bent measuring tape (there is so much in the way) - is 415mm on my car. The 402mm that Thomas has sounds about right.

I hope others have better access with an engine or runners/throttle body removed. Thanks for your help - we NEED those measurements BEFORE Thomas can start production.

I have a motor on a stand with the Kugelfischer and the injectors installed. The measurement in the above photos, 6913 and 6915 is what I measure.

I can take a photo of my measurement tomorrow to verify with you that I am measuring correctly.

Good Morning,

Yes, correct Measurement is only possible when at least the manifold's first two runners are removed but the #4 pipe is installed.

Bill, I'm glad if you could state and do a photo.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,
