can someone please explain how these iranian dudes are tucking so much and getting so low?! I'm just assuming there is a load of custom work involved there especially with stock fenders. Im just amazed, someone reveal their secret.
If you look closer, the 02 looks to have pig cheekish fenders at certain angles plus careful wheel/tire measurements. I'm sure smhheidari will chime in.

Hi guys,

first of all the fjord car's fenders is stock but with some artistic hammer massages!

and about the suspension specs, in Iran we make some custom shocks that we call it "Lavazemi", here is the short detail about it!

first of all cut the housing of the shock then empty the oil which is inside the cylinder of the shock then shorten the housing and the shaft depends on how much you want to go low, then fill the cylinder with custom density oil (depends of how you go low and the stiffness that you want) after that seal the housing with a big threaded nut!

also the spring rate depends on how much you want to go low!

Following pics are not for 02 but very useful to get understand about the Lavazemi shocks!

SMH Heidari: ALSO, Groma Fab guys (now Manofied) are Iranians, you guys can ask them about it!

Early grills in a square tail too.. Hm.

What's most impressive about this car is how many hipster cliches the owner manages to fulfill at once. Although, you must dock him several points because his track bike does not have a lugged frame.

He definitely nailed almost every trendy cue, hahaha. It was taken at the USDM show over in Japan. They're all about mimicking US Fads and celebrating "USDM styling".

I'm still curious about the widths, offsets, and tire sizing.

2002 newbie, and dead serious about it.

Need "opinion" on tire size

My wife picked up a set of 15x7 ET 25 wheels...Should we go 195/45/15's or 195/50/15's the car is pictured with 14x6 185/60/14's with 5mm spacers on rear

the car has I.E. stage two's cut one coil up front and not cut in rear with no spacers...we want to avoid the "big gap" look.... I know this is just a guess but I am trying figure out the best size...thanks

You could probably fit a 205/50 on the back quite easily if you wanted less "gap". The wheels can accommodate that size anyway and having run 205/50's with Superlites of a similar spec before, they will fit under your guards (and if worst comes to worse, a professional ight lip roll never hurt)

195/50 or 45 on a 7" rim is a pretty flat sidewall.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
