I have owned over 20 2002's in my life and have owned this 69 for over 10 years. I purchased it from my dad in 2004. I drove it as my daily and then started doing driver schools in it with a fresh, cam'ed Tii motor making 150 hp. So..one year ago I sold that Tii motor and decided to go for an m20 swap. Why sell a nice Tii motor? I was bitten by the track bug and was becoming more and more frustrated with the low power of my little M10. The m10 was a great motor but to get more HP I would need to do some serious work and I just was not that into do another M10 build. Why m20? A friend had an s52 swap done on his e30 and gave me his m20 with 100k on the clock. Sounds like a good start right? His swap was done at Motorsoprt Services in Deland FL. The owner, Rick has been a long time friend and said he could help me with most of the work on my swap. This situation is getting better for me right? Well...as took the car apart I found rust, shocker, right? After lots of rust repair the car got to Motorsports Services for fabrication to the body and engine fitment . Seeing the M20 apart, Rick discovered it had a cracked head. I sourced a head with 20k on it and did a full rebuild and new cam. So far, here is my list of things done. (So far) -Nose cut and strengthend -Rebuilt head -engine bay painted -everything under the was blasted and painted -Turner chip -motor mounts from only02.com -284 cam -cold air intake -VW mk2 Jetta radiator and 10 inch fan -e30 coolant bottle -larger oil cooler -Enlarged tunnel with E36 transmission and custom shifter and trans mount -Single mass flywheel -Sachs race clutch -stock e30 driveshaft -e21 LSD -blasted and painted pedal Box and all new hardware from IE -custom dash cluster with VDO gauges This 2002 already had Tii struts and brakes along with a tii booster. It also has Billy's and Coilovers, big sway bar up front and adjustable in rear, stress bars front and rear,battery in the back, race seats, harnesses and a roll bar, Zender flares and Epsilon wheels before the swap. . I have a 1969 2002 with a late model nose on it. I just picked up a nice early nose and grills and want to swap it over. Has anyone "skinned" the nose? I don't want to replace the entire front section with rad mounts and headlight buckets, just the actual area that the grills mount to all the way down to the bottom. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

We will be having a Vintage BMW gathering at Sebring during the PBOC Winterfest Driver's School and races. We will have private Vintage BMW Parking , Parade laps during lunch for a small donation. Niner, Am I not getting the joke? There is no 2002 with M-POWER.. It is an E30 M3 S14 engine swapped into a 2002.

Headed to the Auto x Sunday in Orlando with both 2002's It is at the Orange County Convention Center.. Be there by 8am to run your car.. If you want to come hang out, 1st car goes out at 10am. Cost is $35 to race, free to watch.

Thinking of selling my Tii motor and 5sp built by WTF Motorsports in Orlando, Florida (Member M20Curtis on the FAQ) Less than 50,000 since rebuild, IE regrind 292 cam Header.. E30 5spd ..Will throw in an Aluminum Race radiator with all the brackets and hoses. The motor is in my car and I will not pull it until sold A lot of members on here know my 2002. This motor is a great runner and makes about 145-155 HP with a smooth idle and no smoke. I just did a drivers school at Sebring and it performed perfectly. NEVER AN ISSUE! Anyone going to January Auto X ?

Hey guys, we have about 20 Vintage BMW's meeting in the infield for the PBOC racing and Driving school at Sebring January 11th. It will run from 8-6 so come when you want. There will also be about 60 other Euro cars parked with us. There will be at least 2 2002's on track for his even (mine being one of them). Hey guys! Remember the meet I put together last October in Yalaha? Well, Yalaha is not going to happen so I contacted Bob at the PBOC and asked if we can host a meet at Sebring on Jan. 11&12 during the Winterfest racing and Driver school event. We will be able to camp on sight Friday and Saturday night. There will be an Auto cross Sat and Sun and a 1/8 mile drag race Saturday night. The event will be free but you will need to pre register for the Auto cross. I will post up the link for the auto cross when it goes live on the website. There is no sign up for drag racing, bring cash. You can also sign up for the driver's school if you wish. I did it last year in my 2002 and had a blast. http://pbocflorida.com/. all the details can be found on the website. We will have our own spot to park in the infield. Hey guys, I want to let everyone know that we have put the Aluminum 99 Civic Radiator ($59) in my Tii, My bro in law's Tii and a stock 1600 with NO issues. We used the lower Civic radiator hose and cut it to length, We did two small brackets at the top and bottom that mounted to the body. No cutting or denting of the nose involved.. (very simple). I will be putting one in my wife's 74 2002 very soon. I will take lots of pics I did (6) 30 minute sessions around the long course at Sebring over the weekend in 85+ degree temps in South Florida with no cooling or function issues. I did use an electric fan and removed the "big red fan"
