  1. Thanks @2002Scoob - I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app - it just can't find the 123 dizzy. If you look on your list of bluetooth devices on your phone / tablet / etc., does the 123Tune show up as a device? I can't remember if it ever did.
  2. Hi all, Yes, I did a search. Can anyone tell me if they can always see the 123Tune device via bluetooth when ignition is turned on? I haven't played with my 123 in a few months and was going to look at some vacuum readings and play with carb jets. I now cannot connect to the 123Tune. I tried the factory reset (energize both the red and black wires for 10sec) and still no luck. I don't even see 123Tune as a Bluetooth device regardless of which phone I try. Is the Bluetooth on the dizzy dead? Thanks in advance, Mark
  3. Thanks @visionaut & @Mike G. I think I answered my own question. Since there are only two studs for the master cylinder to mount onto the booster, the port can only be at the top, or at the bottom. When I tried to mount the booster with the vacuum port up, it was obvious that the elbow that feeds the master cylinder from the reservoir was going to interfere with the port. In other words, unless you are willing to do some non-obvious mods, the vacuum port needs to be at the bottom. m
  4. Hi All, Moving forward with Tii brake booster install in my base model 1973 to give clearance for dual 40 DCOEs. I noticed that, when mounted in a Tii, the vacuum port is positioned at the bottom of the booster. I can't think of any reason why it has to be this way. Am I missing something? Does anyone have a suggestion for orienting the booster to make running the vacuum hose to the manifold easiest and/or cleanest looking? I'm using an IE manifold. When mounted, the brass fitting will be pointing back at the firewall. I was going to replace this with a 90 degree elbow to give the hose a fighting chance of not kinking when being routed to the much-further-forward Tii booster vacuum port. thanks in advance! Mark
  5. Wow - thanks John. Your eyes are much better than mine. I didn't notice the 4 and didn't see a line pointing at the bracket. MANY THANKS!! Mark
  6. Sorry - should have mentioned that this was all in a state of partial disassembly. I had already liberally soaked the fittings with PB Blaster and cracked the fittings loose when I took this picture. I'm replacing all the brake lines while I have the vacuum booster out. I found about a 1/3rd a cup of brake fluid in the booster while tracing a brake leak. I'm swapping in a Tii booster and master cylinder as I work towards installing dual 40 DCOEs!
  7. Since I don't know what it's called and I can't find it in RealOEM, can anyone tell me what the bracket (red arrow) that mounts to the strut is called and where I might be able to find one? Some PO cut a notch out of it and out of the mount on the wheel well arch (two red circles) for some reason?! thx! Mark
  8. Just getting ready to pull disconnect my output shafts to do rear springs and shocks. Can anyone tell me what purpose the plate(2) and reinforcement(3) serve? The allen head bolts have round heads so it doesn't seem like they would work as fold over locking tabs. What do they do? thx! Mark
  9. Will PM re: 2 red reflectors - thx!
  10. Turns out @RichenFamous only had 1 dot spacers. Does anyone have some 3 dot spacers? thx Mark
  11. Hi Rich, Thx again. I think we're crossing messages - I sent you a PM. $40 shipped for both sounds great! Yes, the rear rubber spacers should have 3 dots. I swiped this pic from an @eurotrash post. They should be about 1" thick apparently. m
  12. PM'd - Thanks. They are not actually going into the suspension, I'll put them on top of the shock tower mount (above the fender) since it always looked odd to me to just have nuts against the paint and to somewhat hide the extremely long strut mount studs.
  13. I'd like to find a pair of the aluminum front strut spacers that I think were originally fitted to '73 and later cars? Anyone have a pair available? thx Mark
  14. Looking for two of them. I can get them new @ Blunt for ~$60 for the pair so I'd obviously like to pay less than this. thx! Mark
  15. You are probably looking for something more stock looking, but in case you are open to other options try googling "T-bolt hose clamps" https://smile.amazon.com/HPS-SSTC-57-65-57mm-Stainless-T-Bolt/dp/B0058W7VWK/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=57mm+stainless+steel+hose+clamps&qid=1590781034&s=automotive&sr=1-4 mm
  16. Sleeved the drive flange today. The sleeve took forever to arrive. There is a slight overhang on the leading chamfer which I think I'll have to carefully grind away before reassembling.
  17. The existing 3.64 is leaking out of both axle seals. I didn't want to have to pull it, find I needed an extra part or two, then have the car off the road for days/weeks waiting on the parts. At least that's how I justified the LSD to myself. ? I will rebuild the 3.64 and sell it to defray some of the LSD cost.
  18. 3.91 25% LSD in the house !- Arrived yesterday while I was removing the "speed relay(?)" to make space for the Malpassi Filter King that will ultimately supply the DCOE 40's. Just waiting on the repair sleeve for the tranny output flange so I can drive while the weather is nice before installing the DCOE's.
  19. Hi Brandon, Any chance you have a lower seat frame for '73 driver's side seat? I would buy an entire seat if the price is right, upholstery could be totally ragged if the frame is good. mm
  20. What do you actually shim? I can't even imagine how you could shim the chain itself. Oh - maybe shim the oil pump down? I have yet to tear into my bottom end so plz forgive my ignorance.
  21. I have found good jet prices from this guy: https://www.ebay.com/str/carbdeal Shipping can be a bit slow as I think it's coming from Czech Republic but Weber jets always look good and prices are right.
  22. Hi Andrew,

Thx for sending the weber fuel inlets. They should polish up pretty nicely. I know a while back you were working on some replica Hella license plate lights. Did you ever offer those up for sale? Do you still have any?

    thx

    Mark

      Hey Mark,

I still have a small handful left, had it been a couple more weeks and the answer would have been nill!  In short, good timing!  Shoot me an email, and I can get some out tomorrow.

      -Andrew

  23. I would certainly like to know the answer to this question. I am about to embark on this mission tomorrow.
  24. New bushings in Getrag 245 shifter linkage. What a huge difference!
