  1. thanks guys. I'm just not really a fan of drilling 4 holes in an intake... but if it really out weighs using the brake booster. I'll do it :(.
  2. 123tune / Weber dcoe 45s My 02 is in storage for the winter, so I'm doing some homework/purchases for early spring. I've read that a easy source of vacuum is to T off the brake booster vacuum hose using a anti-pulse valve (http://vwparts.aircooled.net/Anti-Pulse-Valve-for-Vacuum-Advance-Distributors-p/anti-pulse-valve.htm). I've also red that it is best to use all 4 runners for vacuum reading. Could the experts please share their thoughts? ...also, what is the inner diameter of the brake booster hose (since mine is in storage)? thanks, Anthony
  3. Sorry, all I did was google the links for you guys. I haven't even taken mine out of the package :(.

  5. Unfortunately, I can't take credit for choosing the unit, it came with the car. It's a Panasonic CQ-VX5500K, Japanese market. Sounds alright... I haven't really been focused on that yet... trying to make the car run right first. here's a better shot:
  6. hope this helps.... I fabricated a center console face plate (or whatever it's called) out of MDF, with a lot of wood glue and some body filler. it didn't go as smooth as I would have liked because of issues with paint reactions and also I dropped it on the floor once :s some details in here... with a crappy step-by-step. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/blogs/entry/933-winter-is-coming/ final product
  7. yes, if memory serves me correct, the weather seal slots in to the B pillar... Ok, memory does serve me right.. just googled an image. The seal slides out towards the car's interior to expose the rivets.
  8. yup. if you peel back the door seal you'll find the rivets (I believe there are 4)... when replacing it, you drill them out with a bit which is just large enough to catch only the inside of the rivet. Reverse order for install.
  9. still available. ...if it's still listed, it's still available.
  10. If there are any Canadians who placed an order. I ordered Nov 18, and it arrived yesterday (Montreal, Quebec). No one to sign for it so I picked up the box today. Haven't opened it yet, hopefully it's not a dead fish. Most importantly, no duties or taxes! thanks again for setting this up.
  11. I also bought a set from harry6422 I did notice (after I had already ordered my pair) that blunttech also offers some. https://www.blunttech.com/products/3152081

  15. Order placed. thanks again! When I placed my order for the bluetooth model, I entered the voucher code, the price was whack but when I got to the final "cart" page after entering address, and selecting shipping method, the price was magically updated to what it should be. I notice you mentioned that you selected the wire transfer option, I believe it was on that screen where the total was updated. So, looks like there's an issue with your order. I did create an account (if that's the magic step which makes the difference). good luck
