  1. Not sure if this is a question or a problem.. but my most recent blog does not show up under the "blogs" link. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? thanks!
  2. The previous owner cut them, when deleting the rear bench on the '76. I'm wondering if anyone has them for a donor car or something. maybe I could rivet them in or something.
  3. I have a flat battery tray which I cut out from my 2002 during the rebuild. It's just a flat battery tray It does not braces to the strut towers. It has a negative terminal welded to it with a clamp at the top for the battery. It needs paint (it's 'old' verona red with missing patches). If you're interested i could snap a photo and let you have it for $15 + shipping from Montreal, Canada
  4. these are nice. would you happen to know the backspace?
  5. I put a usb connection/lighter socket in my glove box, along with my aux cables. so that I could use on of the blue tooth USB things.
  6. I was a little disappointed with the content in the blog versus the title. Good job and good luck! I was another victim of deceiving looks.
  7. Just finished installing this thing. It wasn't fun, will put up some details in my blog. 3x VDO gauges: Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Water Temp Panasonic Stereo 3x switches: Aux Fan, A/F Wideband digital gauge (in fasten seatbelt box), Future use (potentially driving lights). Hazard switch
  8. Not an expert but here's what i did (or what I remember at least)... 1. Headliner needs to be installed (if you removed it). 2. I riveted in the lower rear window finisher. 3. I riveted in the b-pillar finisher. 4. I put some silicon sealer on the rivet heads. 5. I installed the horseshoe shaped window seal which goes around the top, back and bottom of the window (I had to trim my OEM seal a little). - I started at the bottom corner right where the seal changes shape... and worked away from there. 6. Install the window on the (black) window bracket, with the seal and cotter pin. - Test fit the window in place (it's good to have a helper for this, maybe put 1 screw in (I believe there are 4), they screw in to the b-pillar. - The reason for the test fit, is because I needed to trim the bracket window seal as well. Do a little at a time and retest fit (I trimmed my passenger side a lil too much ) - I also had to make some additional cuts in the horseshoe shaped seal so the seals would fit nicely. 7. Before installing it, put some dabs of silicone (I had a black automotive silicone (whatever that means)), in each corner, - Screw in 4 (possibly only 3) screws in to b-pillar. - Re-installed window latch. 8. Celebrate.
  9. If these are in as good condition as they seem in the photos.. it's a good price VS the new ones
  10. I got a 4x10 roll. which was enough to do the entire floor, the roof and a portion of the firewall. the stuff is ridiculously light. I posted more info in 2 of my blog entries.
  11. I put a layer of Dynamat lite, then a layer of EZ Cool before installing my Esty carpet kit.
  12. If you're referring to the window finishers, I forced mine down then placed a length of 2x4 on top and tapped it down lightly with a hammer. If the seal would get a little caught up on the vent window joint, I'd use a spatula to fix it before pushing down more. It's not fun.
  13. can't speak about 3m but I used the eastwood stuff, no complaints.
  14. looks good! but I don't think it would look good for all colours... like my verona red would be too much.
  15. thanks for the explanation! no problem, thanks for the reply. still looking
  16. That's what I have (or something super similar), it's at the paint shop getting a respray. Here's a photo of rear bumper (following the purchase of the car).. in case it helps with your decision.
  17. thanks for the reply. Excuse my lack of knowledge but what does W=1.30 signify? Odometer aside does the speedometer function?
  18. that's what I did... except i ran a few things off it. - Aux Fan - Wideband - VDO Gauges - Radio antenna FYI: i had to change the location of the distribution block after realizing it interfered with the "under-dash" pieces.
