  1. I can not remember what brand these are...I think Aardvark? Ran them for several years with no issues...$75.00 OBO
  2. Have a set of front hubs from a 320. You will need these if you are installing a front Big Brake set. Have bearings etc.....need a good cleaning but are complete....$60.00 OBO
  3. Bought a new WRX for my daily so no longer need this AC stuff. All is BRAND NEW. Compressor is true Sanden and not a knock-off. Sanden 508 compressor for 134A...$200.00 18x10 High flow condenser..$50.00 (I have 2 for sale..50 each) 12' Maradyne electric fan. $100.00 Hose kit (has enough couplings for 2 installs...and has 2 driers) $100.00 Hobie Dave compressor bracket...$100.00 Shipping is extra...I will only take PayPal. 4. I was having this same issue. I aligned my car several times without thinking it may be the tie rods. Well they seemed fine but I bought new ones. Took the old ones out and they were toast. When you have bad tie rods your car will toe out when you start driving. Will chew em up!
  5. Step one is pull car into light, have someone shut you in the trunk. Look for light coming in. That metal lip the rubber is on can be bent up a bit to help meet the new rubber. I also installed new rubber on my trunk with same issue. I took a profile piece of the old rubber and compared to the new rubber. The old rubber stands taller so mates with the lid properly. I finally went to home depot and bought that stick on foam tale, 1/4 inch thick. I peeled and stuck it to the trunk lid. Not the new rubber and the foam tape form a seal
  6. Just rebuilt my front end and decided to leave them off. I have had them on about 2 years (forgot where I got them from)but in reality I don't need them. They add about a degree. I drive pretty mild most the time. 75.00
  7. I have a set of 320 front hubs. You need these to upgrade to the front big brakes. They are dirty, need to be completely cleaned up...but are complete. The bearings and races feel good. Just the exterior of the hubs could use a good wire brushing...75.00 OBO Paypal only
  8. Mine is very loose. I have adjusted as much as I can without binding..still have over 1.5 inches of play left and right when off center. Car is starting to become hard to keep on the road with uneven pavement etc. Rest of the suspension/steering components are tight and fine. SO I need a replacememnt. I put a want ad out but was wondering if there is a source for rebuilt ones?
  9. for my 74 2002. Mine has tons of slop left and right. I have adjusted as much as possible. Time for a new one. Let me know what you have

Think it says Intercar Good stereo. Speaker in front doors and kick space under back seats Leather shifter boot Trunk mat is sty so are floor mats in car Original carpet M3 rear view mirror Narrative: Many of you know this car. I am second owner. I drive it everyday. Have gone to 4 Mid Americas. I have driven it for 4 years now. After 4 years of every day in a 1974 car I am ready for a change. This car deserves to be driven less and have the easy life LOL..always garage kept car. Car runs so good, shifts smooth and has plenty of power. In fact is is downright fast. I hit 100 (106) plus several times on the Pig Trail chasing an M6. I would drive this anywhere in the country without a second thought..has never let me down. Car is very beautiful and gets tons of attention. The interior is presentable but needs to be redone. Headliner is ugly. Seats need to be recovered. Dash has some typical cracks for a Texas car. I feel this car is worth 10k plus but reduce that to 9000 to cover interior work. I added up receipts and have about 16k into this car (that’s is with 2 motor rebuilds and 2 heads done) Paint has a few small issues on hood (Shiner bottle). Driver door has a new ding from a shopping cart. Misc minor rock chips. This paint job has about 90k miles on it since paint..yes I drive it that much!! Car handles like it is on rails. I had the side mirror sput on the fenders like I saw so many done in Europe. Can be moved if you ever decide to…I like the look. I have never wrecked the car and saw no evidence of prior wrecks. But you never know with old cars. I rebuilt the heater box a few years ago and my foam pads did not stick so it needs new ones. Heater valve has a slow drip so will need a rebuild at some point. Heater works fine. Shifter rod has slow leak. I have installed 2 seals but still a slow slow leak. I top off tranny every year, that’s how slow it is. Great way to rustproof LOL. Guibo is new Emergency brake should need a new cable. It worked with the drums but gets stuck with the discs. So needs new cables of old ones taken apart and greased etc. Diff has had a slow leak at gasket since I got it. No drips but stays wettish. Diff I assume is open and 3:64 but never checked. New rubber boot on E brake. Dome light works. Speedo died last year and I just have not had time to replace it. I have had 2 additional hangers added to the IE exhaust. The IE ones both cracked. The mount on the body in back was missing so I had one made to fit…It is riveted in and should be welded in. Gas tank has a dent in bottom but works perfect. Windshield has 2 small chips..not in driver view. Car is beautiful and a great running/driving car. I just want to disclose all I can think of. Most the guys know and have seem my car so can vouch for it. I did not cut corners when I worked on it. I painted the engine bay and trunk a charcoal gray. Not due to any damage. The original Verona was just very faded and ugly. Has headlamp bucket covers. Original jack. What I am after: I am looking for Super clean E24..prefer CSi, lower mileage. Second car would be a clean low miles E28…love both for different reasons but really am after an E24, 6 series CSi. Third choice would be an E30, again super clean possible a convertible would be nice……My car is probably worth about 10k as it sits but I am willing to reduce value to 8500. What I expect is an E24 or E28 that is worth 9000 or if not then what it is worth with a cash difference back This next car will be my daily car so want a really nice interior and paint, 5 speed, lower miles 6 cylinder. I am not after a car that has been heavily modified. Maybe lowing springs and nice wheels and tires, sway bars…..just not to much done to it If you have any interest then I would be glad to take whatever additional pics you may need.. I also have no problem driving the car and meeting someone half way if we do a swap since I am looking for a strong good running car. What do you have? To sell outright I must have at least 9k for this car. After the sales I have been seeing it is worth that easily and then some Photo bucket link: http://s627.photobucket.com/user/nbristow01/slideshow/My%201974%20BMW%202002 Year: 1974 Make: BMW Model: 2002 Body and Interior: Body: Painted about 3 years ago Audi Brilliant red…very bright No rust I have found (I have been all through this car) except spare tire bottom (pinholes) New front and back glass seals New door rubber New rear wing glass Engine and Drivetrain: Engine: JE 9.5:1 Pistons Bored 1MM over Total Seal rings 95 Amp Alternator (less than 1000 miles on it) Distributor rebuilt by Advanced Distributors (total rebuild mechanical advance) Crane Fireball optical triggered ignition Suspension, Brakes: Suspension: HR progressive springs IE sway bars front and back Poly bushings front New rubber bushings back Bilstien HD shocks and cartridges Balls joints 6 months old Control links, tie rods etc 3 years old Fixed c
  11. I have been tossing around the thought of trading my 02 for a early/mid 80's BMW. As many may know I drive my 02 every day to the tune of almost 30k miles a year. So whatever car I may get will be my DD. I love the look of the E24's That 5 series 4 door has a neat look. But the 6 series is so nice as well. Not sold on the 3 series from those years although I have seen a few clean ones with nice wheels that would be nice. The 02 is a great car...but going into year 4 of everyday driving is getting harder and harder to do. My 02 is a very sorted and nice car. So if I ever did trade it the car I am getting would need to be super clean and low miles, no rust etc etc..5 speed please. So my question is of the 3,5,6 series...which would provide me the best DD capacity as far as cost of maintenance etc. Also my 02 is gaining in value yearly so I would hope to get a car that will also be appreciating I know this is a very broad question but I really appreciate your views on it
  12. Man I wanted her to get the S5 so bad!! She did not want it. I could not believe it. Said she liked the A5 better. Ha saved me some coin I guess!
  13. Well we finally traded in the beloved 2006 A3. With 176000 miles on it. My wife loved the 2013 A5 so I got her one. I have to say I am very very impressed with it. I think my 02 has a crush on it
  14. I had a set if 14" NKs. I sent them to CA and had them turned into 15x7 ET25 Basically they cut out the center piece of the 14" NK and weld it into a 15x7 barrel. I could not get the rear disc setup to fit. But yes the front BBK will fit. Those wheels look sweet
  15. Plans have been made and my daughter and I are ready!!
  16. Oregon to Southern Arizona...THAT'S a climate change
  17. I am checking guibo, having a small exhaust leak welded. Adjusting valves, clean her up. Checking the belt. I just installed a complete new rebuilt head, all new parts, and have that final valve adjustment to do
  18. You can also go EFI with a 318 manifold. Here on FAQ in the "Store" you can buy an adapter for a bigger Throttle Body, also use bigger injectors etc etc EDIS. Should be a solid running setup. Stick on a good knock sensor and you can really push the advance. Another fun route would be to put an M42 motor in. Andy put a turbo in his. You can push 200 HP easily and have a daily. Getting 200HP out of an M42 is much cheaper than trying to get that out of an M10 and MUCH cheaper than the S14 route
  19. This will help you with the E part http://www.bmw2002.com/mm5/merchant.mvc
  20. LET ME TELL YOU. I have over 100k miles on my IE stainless exhaust now. Could not be happier with it. I have beaten the snot out of this thing and it still sounds great and performs great. At one point I developed an exhaust leak underneath. Had that annoying tick sound. So I was driving on the freeway and I saw this piece of cardboard looking stuff in the road. Kind of a lump of it. I tried to avoid it but could not so decided to straddle it. Well it was a big tan rock. It whacked my muffler and stopped the leak. The IE stainless system is well worth what it costs. If i put 10ok plus miles on it just imagine how long it will last for guys that drive much less than me
  21. We are supposed to be filming 12 more shows starting in May...but you never know with TV. It could be months later. Filming was very labor intensive. We really did flip the house in 8 days but wow what long hours. And very fast paced.
  22. I hope everyone can facebook and tweet HGTV about the show....that is the feedback they are after
