  1. Got scammed on the purchase of a decklid and rear driver quarter..paid and parts never shipped. SO, I need a full driver rear quarter complete with B and C pillar. Also need deck lid. Both for my 1970 2002. Need shipped to Dallas Texas. Lesson learned on the other transaction and will only pay with PayPal and NOT as family and friends...let me know what you have available

  3. It has been 5 weeks...in 5 weeks I think I could have chopped a tree down, made pulp and manufactured my own cardboard LOL. He should not have sold the parts and tell me "they will be shipped right out" if he can not do itl
  4. Because I was an idiot...lesson learned for sure
  5. Man I hope and I can delete this thread..I hate to ever have to post something negative...weighs heavy on me
  6. On Dec 3 I sent him funds of $950.00 for a deck lid, driver rear quarter and 2 roundie tail light assemblies. I sent PayPal as F&F (my mistake). After much coaxing he finally sent me the tail lights. He claimed the deck lid was ready to ship and the Quarter needed to be cut off and prepared to be shipped. Still nothing. I told him last week to either ship the decklid and refund me the rear quarter or just refund it all minus the tail lights, since I go them finally. His excuse has been that it is cold out so weather has been the issue (He is in NY I believe) He should have stated this upfront and then let me decide to buy or look elsewhere. His last message, last Thursday, was that he planned to have the quarter panel off and ship all on Monday (this past Monday) or, if he could not get panel off he would ship deck lid and refund the panel. I have heard nothing from him since and I see his last login, on FAQ, was Saturday. The kind side of me hopes he was not injured and all is OK with him. The other side of me is a bit upset as I have an entire project on hold waiting on these parts and his lack of communication has been very frustrating. SOrry to rant, but after reading the other thread about him (after I had already paid him) I am concerned. I hope he does the right thing and either sends my parts or gives me my money back
  7. I was told this is an early Tii US Spec wheel. If it is not then I am certain you guys, and gals, will beat me to death LOL. Anyway, it came out of my 70 model. Lots of pics, in decent shape I guess. I would image it will nee to be re-wrapped etc. Price is 150 OBO. plus shipping. First come first serve

  9. I plan to use black plasti-dip. Stays satin and looks super. Plus it’s rubber and won’t chip. I used it on a front section of my Subaru and always looks great
  10. Thanks for the info....I guess my dreams of having the rarest grill on earth are wiped out. I removed one of the slats and the upside is the grill bars underneath are super shiny. The downside is the grill bars underneath are super shiny. Makes my grilles, I thought looked nice, look less nice. So, I will paint and reinstall these grill covers. They do lend a masculine look to the car and it is named "Walter".
  11. I have had square tails with plastic grills. This is my first roundie....1970 model. Getting ready to restore the grills and I have a question about colors. It appears my grill had a second cover over the original crossbars. They appear factory and very faded. Looks like some are black and some appear faded goldish color can someone enlighten me on how this grill may have looked new? Are these additional covers old add on? They appear to be glued to the undergrill and riveted at ends so I assumed they may be factory or dealer additions? thanks for any help
