I'm considering buying an early Sahara 1600, like my first one. I'm trying to picture what that color would look like with modifications to suspension and wheels.

Alright, I'll bite. Here's mine. It's actually a '73, but when I painted it I removed the lower trim and moved to the early style bumpers.

If I Ever got another 02, it would be a toss up between Sahara or Charmonix.....I like the subtle color on the early 02's, especially with gold wheels, or nice panasports, mm mmm good!

Hey, thanks Mike. I have many wheels, but I like the simple hub caps on the ti/tii steelies too. Hub caps came from Keith.... a long time ago.
