My 1974 02 is getting a new B48…has this been documented??

That looks awesome in your engine bay.  It looks like you may have challenges fitting a radiator and the oil filter sits right where the steering box sits in the subframe.  No room for the brake booster, so I assume you will go without.  Looks like a super fun project.  Start a Blog so we can follow along.

Thank u so much brother :))

Oil filter just got relocated to the top so car can be serviced from the top instead the bottom :))

steering column will be rebuilt and redone and brakes is a whole other headache :))

but it will be a rare 2002 with about 330 hp on tap

makes me smile just thinking of that

Back half will get a diff from 430 bmw…the original E21 could be rebuilt but I don’t want to take a chance. Also custom driveshaft will be made and they will reinforce the bottom of the car in general

tranny will be a 6 speed that comes with the b48. It will be out of a new Supra :))

Following.

Great questions so far, and it looks like you've got a game plan. Very interested in this, but had not found much encouraging on how to handle the engine management/ECU controls. Keep us posted on the Motec program and functionality.
