Ok, I admit it. I am a crazy car guy that likes originality. So I go out and purchase a 1972 2002 tii without looking at it. Not only is it nicer than I expected, I found the original (not a copy) of the window sticker!!

My car has air conditioning too which I never knew about till I got it home. Go figure.

Very cool. Needs to be framed.

I always do it right the second time.

Constant air flow is flow through ventilation. If you have a/c, t'was a dealer-installed option.

Your console face will have vents if so.

Congrats!

There was a string about a month ago in which a bunch of us posted our original window stickers and other documents. It would be great if you could also post your window sticker there. Maybe search under "original papers" or something akin to that.

Thanks and enjoy!

Likely the battery ;-)

Cheers,

I documented all of the original documents I found in my car. The above link gives you some of the neat stuff I found.

Anyone know what the Varta documents were? They are all in German.

p.s. The seatbelt extensions were in the rear seatpockets of my tii when I bought it in 1982.
