" whatever somone's willing to pay".

-depends on how it roads tests now, motor and drive train

history, condition of electrics, inspecting under floor and

under rear seat for rust and buckling - now add to that deduction

for restoration collision repair, then presently you have

a $Zero car sitting there.

what would you Pay Now? there you go - whatever the

salvage auction brings

I think you should buy it and the white shell that has been for sale on our FS forum and build one nice car from two. Both quarters, door and the trunk is a big job --at least 10k in repairs if you are lucky. I think this one will help others live on. Too bad! $~750 if it runs good and has nice interior.

Keep after it. She might come to her senses eventually and hopefully you can be first in line. What I suspect happened is the insurance company has offered her a settlement on it and it was lower than what she expected. (had she used someone like Hagerty with an agreed value policy, she would be 100% covered on HER side.) So if you can't beat that number it will probably end up being taken as a total and sold at auction where it will undoubtedly be in a junkyard in a few weeks. Too bad.

It's all a function of what someone wants to pay versus how fast she or her landlord want it out of her driveway. As other posters have said, if someone wants the engine and the seats, they might pay more than $500 for it. On the other hand, I got a running '02 a few years back that had been cracked in the nose because the landlord said "get it outa here."

Those seats looks stock to me.... They arent worth but a couple dollars... But I would pay maybe 400 for it.
