..your top speed seen?...

2002 turbo specs :

Terminal speed 116 mph/186kph

Ha! Funny translation, "terminal" sounds so ominous.

Terminal speed is when you fly off a cliff and as you drop, it's is the speed you won't exceed. Your speedo may or may not register during that event.

No, but your diaper probably will.

About 130 on the gps, I really need a 3.64 diff, with the 4.11 it just runs out of revs.

Still really stable, just noisy as hell.

If I change my diff to a 3.64 I'll try to get it up to 140.

Short clip of me doing 128 or so (the speedo is a bit optimistic):

Not mine, no association, wasn't there, can't verify, won't vouch, didn't post bail.

gokwok posted this video on YouTube a few moments ago:

215 kph = 133.595 mph

Apparently in a 1602 turbo. Good times.

Now that's internet comedy! 4X2 is gokwok? Nice timing.

VDO or MPH has been seen on my speedometer one time. = roughly 130 - 135mph downhill... :b....

Had way to much fun running and hiding from a '66 Mustang GT K-code one morning. Highway was slightly downhill and had open sweeping curves mixed with straights. I'd dice through the light packs of traffic and sprint into the next open. By the time he'd catch up to the next pack of cars I'd already be through them and into the open..... During these open sections I and my passenger cousin Matt saw my speedometer read VDO.... The fun and games went on for several miles till traffic opened up and the downhill leveled out. He flew past with all the might and anger of his 271hp and this confused look on his face while my speedo still read 120. Wish I had video of that one. :)

Oh, my car was rock solid; my '67 1600-2 Red with a roughly 125hp massaged 2-liter, some suspension, 2002 brakes, a 5spd and at the time a 3:90 limited slip diff... BYW early 1600-2s weigh 2050lbs.

somewhere slightly above 100 my speedometer was dead so i had to rely on my friend behind me in a civic to keep up, his speedo read 105 and i pulling away sloooooooowly. car felt very stable but hawaii's speeding laws are strict for anything above 80mph so backed off pretty quick.
