  1. Sent you a PM. I have one lying around I can hook you up with.
  2. I got a good laugh out of that post. lol
  3. Depends on East Bay or Peninsula. If East Bay then Casey Motorsports - http://www.caseymotorsports.com/cms/Welcome.html If Peninsula - Motorspeed West - http://www.motorspeedwest.com/
  4. Looking for a set of fixed camber plates. If you have a set let me know.
  5. On most modern bikes the master link is "riveted." What I mean by that is we have special master links that require special chain tool that essentially holds the one side of the link while mushrooming out the pivots. I would think that car timing chains would be put on with the same sort of tool. They make one of those tools for motorcycle cam chains. This is the cam chain rivet tool for motos.
  6. That's pretty good. I really need to sort out my jetting. I have no idea why my mpg is such crap. Car runs well though. :|
  7. What are people's real world mpg on the 38 anyway? My exhaust is massive and I'm pretty sure I'm jetted rich to compensate, so I'm lucky to get 22mpg for my commute/tooling around town in my 32/36. Wonder how much worse it would be in the 38...
  8. Carbtune seems like same tool we use on motorcycles. I wonder if a motorcycle sync tool would work the same. Hmm.
  9. I wouldn't mind doing Big Willow. That's a bit far for me, so was thinking Buttonwillow, but would like to drive Big Willow . I've only ridden there, so would be a completely different feeling driving it.
  10. I'm up for a proper "real" '02 group TD. We should sort that out...
  11. Thanks Steve. I know we had an issue with a network shared drive, but my PC was not one of the affected ones. I'll keep an eye out though.
  12. So, for some reason today the site is requiring me to complete a captcha when accessing from my work's network. Anyone else getting this?
  13. Yeah, I'm from there. I have many memories of them chasing me on my BMX bike around campus when I was in high school. During summer when no one is in school they look for stuff to do and chasing high schoolers on BMX bikes apparently is enough.
  14. That's pretty cool. It'd be awesome if you could somehow get one of those to follow you around the track from above.
  15. That's not too unbelievable. That's cool there are others as well running around OU. Plenty of decent roads around there to have fun in one. There's a lot of parking lots that would make for cool impromptu auto cross tracks, if only the OUPD took their jobs just a little less seriously.
  16. You probably have one of two 2002s in Athens I'm sure. There's not a lot of small old cars there.
  17. Yeah, I'd feel more comfortable if they were closer. I wonder if putting in the fixed plates and making sure everything's torqued properly will help (fingers crossed).
  18. Not racing, but plan to track the car. Their suggestion was to get more negative camber, which is something I plan to do. So, all good for now. Need to get some camber plates put in soon I think.
  19. Ok, I spoke with a local reputable race suspension shop and they said that it's nothing to worry about. They said it's pretty common for the caster to be off a little and to not worry about it.
  20. Oh, forgot to mention, the camber for my wheels differs a bit as well. The front L is - .3 deg vs R of -.5 deg. Also, in the box of spare parts was a single front strut mount (new), with an empty box for the other. Is it possible that the PO replace only one of the strut mounts and that the one he didn't replace is more wore out now and causing this? Just trying to sort out if the two are possibly correlated...
  21. As far as I know they're in good shape. The prior owner replaced all the bushings at some point with IE bushings and I took it to a shop a little bit back and they said everything was good in terms of bushings etc. That said, I will jack it up at some point and take a look. So what would you guys suggest? Should I take it to a frame place and have them sort this out or get camber/caster adjusters (like the K-Mac ones) to fix this? Oh, the steering is better, but still not perfect.
  22. The euro ones aren't that expensive. Maybe NOS in pristine shape from a US seller. I got a set earlier in the year for under $100 and if you are willing to deal with ebay.de then you could get them often for a very fair price (assuming you can get the seller to ship to you).
