  1. It may not be a TISA becuase that doesn't exist at least not on an 02" but that's one sweet car.
  2. Thanks this really made my day I laughed out loud. I too was wondering what was that! Sorry to hear about the car! At least it wasn't a hit and run.
  3. It does really depend on the incline....and ofc the compression of the engine does make it easier or harder to turn them. Why don't you order a cheap compression gauge of off amazon or something? Good way to get it out of your system and very easy to use.
  4. Yeah I guessed it was going to be better but still the rear ones are a bit bent for my taste. I'll wait till the job is finished and lower the car torque to spec and check back. Thanks!
  5. Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out why my stabilizer links never go in straight. Same story on the back. Do you have any tips? The picture here was taken before lowering the car and tightening but still looks too crooked.
  6. Thanks a lot guys great info here and yeah I only supported the casing...nothing on the Haynes pointed out that I needed to support it from the inside but ofc it makes sense. Well it does now anyway...ahhh.
  7. Thanks mlytle was just following the Haynes manual by the book.... Just stated to make sure the weight was being placed on the very center of the axle which we did but well.... Was trying to get only the CV joint and no the whole half shafts but guess there's no alternative! Just out of curiosity how would you properly support it? We placed it between 2 wooded pieces, centered it and started applying pressure on the tiny hole in the middle of the shaft.
  8. Hey guys I'm having some trouble here. We were trying to change the axle boots and turns out the axles were very very stuck on the cv joints. We used a hydraulic press lightly the first one came out just fine but the second one was destroyed... Now these are not available by themselves but have you bumped into a similar problem before? Any suggestions?
  9. The overall shape of the 2002 doesn't help at all but sure there's a ton of things we can do to improove the aerodynamics of the car and it DOES make a difference. I own a 86" Taurus LX which is very very aerodynamic and at hwy speed it shows...take the pedal of the gas and it barely looses speed do that on my 2002 or E21 and it's like hitting a brick wall! I've seen guys blocking grilles and making all sorts of wacky things, I love the look of the car too much to go that far but those racing kits look great!
  10. Change will always be there its up to us to adapt, and bug will be ironed out for sure.
  11. Good luck! I've never taken the M10 out of the car but in my other bimmer when I replaced the engine for the 2.7 the most difficult part was getting the geabox/clutch/engine to fit easily while the car was on some really low jack stands.

  13. Well my car turned out not to be a tii while the seller claimed and swear it was the tii his father bought new in 71". There's always gonna be people trying to screw you up.
  14. That price is nuts and is it me or the engine bay is chamonix and the rest polaris?
  15. Looks great weight savings is great specially for track cars. As long as they are not the same manufacturer that does the ones on the 787 we should be fine haha. Had to say it...
  16. That's a first time for me haven't ever seen anything like it. At least not that I remember.
  17. No overflow bottle here never needed one but I've seen a guy using the windshield washer one as an overflow haha.
  18. Those are the best memories. I grew up with an old 74" Range Rover and I'll never forget that car. For some reason when you are a tiny gearhead the first car you liked and remembered will always stick in your mind.
  19. Very sorry for your loss it's real sad to loose a pet they become part of the family.
  20. Good luck with your project! Agreed rust may take a lot of work to get rid of but it's also part of most restorations.
