  1. As you know from Facebook, I'm running dBilas 40mm ITBs using Megasquirt and EDIS. I have the usual high compression, big cam goodies. No knock sensor; just an AEM wideband. I have a vacuum log made from a chunk of fuel rail under the intake manifold which provides a balanced signal, but I still have a filter in the line back to the ECU. Why ITBs? I consider them the best of both worlds in some ways. I get all the sound and fury of dual carbs, but all the modern convenience of EFI. Plus, they look cool. Because it's cool is a perfectly valid reason to do things. Pictures you ask? OK!
  2. Nope. I do have a spare relay sitting in my block, but I am loathe to cut up my original wiring. I might do it eventually, I know the advantages, but I haven't had an issue yet.
  3. Look Ray, proper H4s, from the MoBrighta group buy. The weather is shite here in the Seattle area today, so I figured it would be good day to do this. City Lights Low Beams
  4. City Lights Low Beams I actually did the wiring for the city lights slightly different. I cut the gray wire leading to the side marker inside, not out at the light. Then I crimped on connectors. This makes the system removable should I choose. Plus, it was just easier for me.
  5. What about the oaks vs the maples in Rush's song, "The Trees"?
  6. Shhhhh...I actually prefer the Ford of this era, but my other half is decidedly pro-Chevy.
  7. I believe mine are 19 lb/hr and are completely adequate for fueling an M10.
  8. Just because there is a provision for city lights does not mean you have to run them.
  9. I have the 15" Bosch blades that Bav Auto sells. They work fine. And fix the heater. Seriously. Best investment I ever made. My car almost gets too hot now.
  10. I already have an 02 that I love. Can I have that Chevy wagon?
  11. But are any of us really anywhere? </existentialism>
  12. There is faux wood knee trim. I like it, although the interior is "Cheyenne delete".
  13. Also, I wanted a '60-66. And my g/f and I looked at a bunch. One we really liked, but with manual steering and a non-synchro 4speed, my g/f didn't like having to manhandle it. So, we opened up our search to the '67-72. This one has PS and PB along with the overdrive auto trans. Oh, and 3:73 posi out rear. Yes, we have done a burnout. [emoji51]
  14. Answers: This has rear coil springs. The rear was lowered with springs and shocks (with relocators for the shock mounts. The distributor has been converted to HEI. I have been to that message board, but haven't joined. Yet. The belt line trim was removed for an unknown reason. The seller said he had it, but couldn't locate it. I'm undecided about replacing it. I kind of like the knee trim only. The previous owner is a machinist so the dash knobs, door lock pulls, e-brake release are all custom made by him. I didn't like them when I saw the pictures online. But now that I know the story, they are staying. The gas tank will eventually get relocated. But it's in good shape, so not a pressing issue.
  15. What?! OK, so it's not as exotic as a Porsche or BMW bike, but it's new to me, and I'm excited about it. My girlfriend and I sold our VW camper because we weren't really into it and we needed a truck around the house. The seller never thought he would sell the truck, but he needed to move out of state. It's a '72 C10. Rebuilt motor, 700R4 overdrive transmission, tastefully lowered. It has a couple of small issues, and I am currently installing 3 point seat belts. But it's basically usable just as it sits. Pics!!!
  16. I have an E12 with E28 drive train. It's a great car. Comfortable, handles well (with Bilsteins, B&G springs and huge ST sway bars). They are modern enough; yet still vintage.
  17. I had no issues buying my E12 in CA and bringing it up to WA, where there is no emissions testing for cars over 25 years old. WA didn't even ask.
  18. I saw a brief snippet of video from Boris' car that the SVRA posted on their Facebook page. I wasn't aware you had sold the car to him. Can't wait for your video.
  19. Locked garage at home. Alarm with electric lock actuators on the road.
