  1. Great advice guys. How about camber plates? Necessary? Lookin at running toyo rr's.
  2. Its a momentum car. We don't need no stinkin brakes.
  3. This question is probably best answered by my cage builder, but if I wanted a 4 pt rollbar that was far enough back that I didn't have to worry about head interference on the street, I would have to have the main hoop somewhere about the middle of the back seat (I'm 6'5"). Is there any problem with that?
  4. So what your saying is it's no different than the e30, e36 and e46 racecars I've driven!
  5. I have a standard 02 with a tii engine (no tii brakes). Engine runs great. E21 rad. Fresh suspension (stock bushings, off the shelf sport dampers/springs/bars). I'm considering doing a few DE weekeds a year with it. I'm a very experienced driver/racer so I'm just looking for advice on making it reliable and safe. I'm concerned about the engine (k fish) and the brakes (particularly the rear drums). I'm sure I won't be able to resist driving it 10/10ths. Will probably not resist temptation to buy fat sticky rubber either. Want to keep it very streetable too. Any advice?

  7. Lot of stuff not legal on there. Cool car but I'm afraid it might end up costing a bunch to get it legal.
  8. Year:: 1976 Make:: BMW Model:: 2002 Location: : NW Indiana I have a nice driver Verona 76 with a 74tii engine swap and sunroof that I am looking to trade (+cash if necessary) for a racecar that is legal to run with vintage groups (SVRA, etc.). If you are interested, let's talk! Kyle
  9. You guys that saw it think it would make a good start for a racecar project?
  10. I live in IL and I have a chance to buy a CA suburban that has a current smog sticker but won't pass when it comes up in a few months. Can the CA resident sell it to me?
  11. Beemer drives you nuts, too. Right?
