  1. if you look around something will come up in the 3k range and thats for the whole engine ,trany and harness with ecu .if you can find a wrecked one for 5 or 6k take what you need and part rest out .the s14 guys are aways looking for parts . i would'nt jump right into this (like i did) every little part is 50 or 100 bucks every time it adds up quick .some jackass has blown s14 parts motor he's asking 3000$ for its not worth 500 bucks .so look around good luck
  2. letme axe you something you think it look better witout the rollbar
  3. he's not even in the ball park . i paid 2800 for mine motor, trany, harness and ECU with 117k on it . BTW blunt i got it running i had a bad position senor
  4. i drve mine 185k no problems just got tired of driving it so updated to a 528i e39 but to honest i liked the layout of the e34 better more inside room .console had a place to put crap .and i miss my armrests !!!! new one don'nt have them
  5. no snow but plenty of ice... and fast 30+ winds on sunday had to use a storm sail on the bigger boat. these thing will do 70 in a flash
  6. my car was running fine i was doing some burnouts in the street i shut the car off and it has'nt started since (about 3 weeks i been trying to get it going ) i've narrowed it down to i'am not getting a ground signal to the injectors i have power on the one side but know ground on the other side . i have spark if i gave it a shot of either it fires right up .i checked all my grounds,my fuel pumps are working ,getting fuel to fuel rail and the return is working .checked all my relays . theirs know way to check my ECU i looked in it and it does'nt smell like anything burnt in it .i can't see anything bad . is anyone willing to plug this in to their car to see if its good or not ( not you skippy in AU or nick in france i'am in CT ) i'll take care of shipping .a used one is like 4 or 5 hundred i hate to throw $ away .i've tryed everything anybody got any ideas. BTW the ECU is from a 89 i'll get a part # if you need it .
  7. no i did'nt bend it i got it from kirk racing 680$ plus a little shipping .its a six point with a dash bar, windsheild bar, and two bars on each door
  8. i stared the rollcage this weekend for the M2. I did'nt know how i was going to weld the tops bye the roof so i tacked it all where it was going marked the floor and drilled 2 1/4" holes in the floor so i put it back in tacked it again then droped it right thought the floor so i could weld it . it worked prety nice .i have 1/8" plates that go over the holes anyway .i also put a quick coat of primer on before the cage went in heres a few pics and my daughter playing with the camera
  9. so where are the rest of the fasteners under the dash and are they screws or bolts thanks
  10. i want to remove my dash where do i start ,i looked under it and don't see any fasteners. do i have to take the windsheild out are the screws under the rubber .i'am building a track car so i don't need the dash it in perfect condition if any bodys lookin for one
  11. trying to figure out what size rims to put on the M2 pack racing sent me a test wheel to try its 15x6 with a 24mm O/S .with this rim i have 2 1/8"to the outside of the turbo flare.i was wondering how fat a tire i can go on a 6" rim .someone said go 15x8 with 0 offset that would put the rim about flush with the fender without a tire on it .i'd like to go with 205 or a little bigger
  12. according to realOEM parts the vin # says it a 1975 euro model 1502. i do see a red dash either .but its still a nice car
  13. the nice thing is its removable because you can't get the motor and transmission in together and its alot easier to get at all the bolts from the top . BTW winston i just used the wire to get the shape i put clear packing tape over it and pulled the glass mold off of it .
  14. i did'nt add any supports i only cut the top of the tunnel so i hope it will be ok and the right now i don't have a speedo but later i may get a digital dash display with all the gauges
  15. heres some pics of the tunnel i made out of fiberglass for the m2 with the M3 transmission . i first used 1/2" chicken wire shaped it and screwed it down to the tunnel then covered everything in clear packing tape .i layed up four sheets of fiberglass on it let it harden over night and poped it off in the mornning trimed all the edges and removed the wire and it fits like a glove . i think i might need a posi rear for this thing
  16. i.ve been storing my cars for years and never had a problem but i do start them and just roll them(every 6 weeks or so) a little so the brakes don't lock up also i don't use the E brake
  17. it sold for 7000$ nov 16th on ebay i guess the the deal fell thought .he said it has a M3 trany but its probably a 320i because i don't see the floor cut up ,a m3 transmission won't fit trust me on this one
  18. that thing looks shot rust everywhere pics suck and i'll just bet its missing more than the cylinder head .it says just reassemble i love when i good to look at a classic car and the poeple want top dollar and say it just needs reassembly they have know clue what it takes to restore a car
  19. mounted the rear flare with this hyd rivet nut gun this tool is the cats ass and i'am sure it can be used to fasten other things .as soon as i have the front fenders mounted perfect i'll drill the front ones. BTW i'am looking for a rear bumper euro to fit this wiyh flares if anybody knows where i can find one
  20. thats a fiberglass bumper i was looking for a chrome one what year do i need to fit with the flares 73 and down
