    i built a cobra kit car a few years back and it came with a painless harness and i'll tell you its worth every penny .you mount the fuse panel run power to it and all the wires are labeled left side right side all the lites ,blinkers ,heater,wipers etc,etc,etc . there is alot to wiring a whole car .i'd think about it bin there done that

    i'am useing the drive shaft out of and 02 automatic the m3 trany and a 02 automatic are the same i think 230 mm long . the tranys not the driveshaft

    i bought used truck with tinted windows i hated them i just got behind it with a razor blade and pealed it right for .then comes the fun part getting all the glue off . i used thinner and acetone and a sraper. it sucked

    the inside is painted with zolatone just google it auto body supply houses sell it about 50$ a qt you can do the whole car inside,trunk,engine bay .the pedals are tilton setup with two 7/8's masters one for the front brakes and one for the rear with a bias adjuster . clutch master is a single 3/4 " the big pain in the ass is i have to have all the lines made to go from 10.mm to AN 3 fitting all teflon lines $$$$$ had a guy cme over from the hyd shop to measure all the lines and make them (can't wait to get this bill ) as for the gas pedal i cut the lower right hand corner out of a old pedal box it still has three mounting holes to bolt it up so i can still use the 02 gas pedal and i'll make an alum plate to cover the hole where the pedal box was this has S14 going in it so have just a 3 foot or so cable . i never raced so i was going to start out with the BMWCCA divers school and some auto cross .who knows maybe i'll scare the shit out of myself and it will be for sale before you know it . i just needed a good project and some thing to blow money on. this was my last project a TR6 its for sale BTW the first 7500 takes it i need the room

    i have 14" bottle cap wheels anybody know what the with is on this wheels .all i can read is 35 then ?? x14 H2 the first #'s unreadable

    make one , cut your ends off and lower the center section buy adding on the sides making it lower and have someone who can weld (a pro) if you can get a m20 in a 02 you'll figure it out good luck

    the inside paint is zoelotone its a trunk paint gray with black & white specks.

    i'am rebuilting my front end .i just did the 2" shorting of the struts for the coilover kit . i have a set of tii hubs with no bearing in them i noticed the bearing are bigger in the tii hub than the regular 02 ones . i don't know the inside daimeter of the tii bearing is it the same as a reg 02 . so will these fit on the axle or do i need a tii strut if they fit thats great if not any body need them ???

    will a 320i vented rotor fit on a 02 or is it to thick

    no i did the brakes wilwood dynalites ,VW GTI rear rotors and made my own brackets. you have cut a few mm off the hub so the rotor will fit over it . it has;nt been tested yet so i would'nt do it just yet i'll get back to ya if i don't hit something first

    its been a long 18 months but the M2 is ready for paint .some pics of the guide coat and last coat of primer . BTW blunt i'am going to need some welting for my flares . got any ?? what you think lime green,orange or yellow ??

    i used 1.75 x .095 DOM you can make bends as tight as you want if you have the right dies in the bender . all that work you might as well make legal .

    go to this site http://www.2002turbo.com/02body.htm and cut out your wheel wells and weld them back up . your going to cover them anyway
