Looking forward to attending my first vintage and connecting with folks. Sadly I won’t be driving the car down but if you see a vintage Airstream on the hwy on your way in be sure to honk as you pass. joe2 points -
Hi-- Just a comment, we will be at our usual location on the North end of the Brisbane Marina (NOT in Uptown Brisbane as shown on the first posted map but close to the fishing pier and not far from Dock-6). If you set your GPS, 400 Sierra Point Parkway is for the Harbormaster office and 500 Sierra Point Parkway is the yacht club. An even closer address is 9000 Marina Drive, Brisbane 94005 which Bing Maps thinks is nearer to the North parking lot in the Marina.2 points

We are actually working on trying to make this at least a recorded and uploaded event if not live streaming one. This is the kind of event that we hope to encourage in the 2002 Forever Chapter-- local events with nationwide publicity and impact.2 points

Nope ! I'm not driving the whole 8 miles from my residence to Woodley Park to attend. If I drive down there, it will be to the Apollo 11 Model Aircraft Field just across the street.1 point -

I am attempting to re-post this here. This is from a friend from NC, looking for the convenient transport of the part below back to Wisconsin. It is looking like Amy and I will likely not make it down for this year's Vintage, else we would gladly cart this back. If anyone else is making the trek from WI, please feel free to reach out to the Dave below.1 point -
I would like to thank everyone who came to our house after for some Tacos and Beer. It is always great to see old faces and I am surprised every year by how many people I still do not know, or remember I think we had about 60 people, so that was great!!! See you all next year!1 point

Steve, thank you for this offer, I was really looking forward to meeting everyone here. Try as I did to protect the whole day, something came up in the afternoon that I can't miss, so I'll just have to see everyone at the show instead/only. I'll be the Riviera roundie with the primer gray trunk!1 point

If your travels to the Vintage take you through SW Ohio or points between there and Asheville, our annual Vintage Caravan will be departing from Dayton OH on Thursday morning 18 May, down I-75 into KY, turning east on US 25E at Corbin, then on through KY and TN to I-81 for a few miles, then south on I-40 for an unexpectedly fun stretch of twisty Interstate all the way to I-26 into Asheville and our destination at Fletcher. We have rendezvous points along the route for folks to join up. If you want more info or would like to join the caravan, PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send you more detailed route instructions and rendezvous points. cheers Mike Caravanmeister1 point -
I'm gonna pass on tomorrow, not in the mood to drive in the rain, hanging out with family and dogs.1 point

Well 2019 looks to be as great as last year, with additional photography from the Mars Insight lander (our latest transporter). Wonder which cars will be joining this years excursion? Tom1 point -
Oh man! I'm half tempted to fly down there from Seattle just for the day...1 point

I somewhat shamelessly borrowed a cover image for this event from an old Seattle meetup thread. Let me know if you don't want it shared.1 point -

Thought I'd add a few dates that are fast approaching... Feb 20, Saturday. Third Saturday of each month---Cars and Coffee at Mozarts on Lake Austin. Once again 8AM to get the best parking spots---Last month we had 10 2002s in a row: BEAUTIFUL! March 12, Saturday. Cars and Coffee at Mozarts. A WEEK EARLY. March 13, Sunday. Car Show at the Oasis at Lake Travis March 19, Saturday. Plano, Texas---TEXAS Celebration of 100 Years of BMW and 50 Years of the 2002! Starts at 8am there so we will probably caravan from Austin the day before. More details coming soon. March 25-27, Friday to Sunday, Fredericksburg Texas. Our Spring 02berfest! Make hotel reservations now at the Peach Tree Inn. Answer the Survey Question below: Survey Question: For those of you participating in the Spring 02berfest, how many of you would be interested in participating in a Wine Country/Wineries Tour on Friday. We can hire a van and guide to take us from winery to winery on Friday. This allows sampling of wines without worry of driving effects. Non-drinkers like me are free to follow along in our 2002s and watch the results of the tour. Sound like fun? This would be in addition to our usual activities on Saturday and Sunday. Any out of towers who might like to fly into Austin for any of these events? We have plenty of loaner cars, 2002s and others. Give us a call.1 point -
