A Hoodlum Update

I posted back in June when a local couple saw my Sahara '74 and gave me their wrecked Sahara '76.

Here's a before and after. My first stab at serious bodywork and painting, and while the Pebble Beach crowd won't be quaking in their boots, I'm pretty happy with the results.

Now onto some suspension work, and getting it ready to autocross in the Spring.

I'm going to take it over this weekend and show them. George was the original owner and loved the car, but advancing years were catching up with him (hence the crash...)

I'm hoping he'll be really happy to see it back on the road and not crushed or parted out.

Thanks for all the kind words!
