But that's just it- "stance" often- usually?- means "I just ruined the handling of a nice car.  Ain't I kewl?"

 

10 years ago we beat "optimum ride height for handling" to death.

I read stance to mean the stance of your car and what parts you used to achieve that. I never thought it meant the stance poke hellaflush garbage.

It's pretty arrogant to declare that all posts about stance since you've had your say are now brainless.

I've found this thread useful and I'm pretty sure that as long as people care about how their cars look and drive others will do to. The last I checked there are still innovations being made in suspension and wheel technology.

I know this is probably flame bait but I want to go the other route and have a bit higher suspension for a bit more clearence for off road silliness, just an inch or two.

 

I was reading on one of threads (that I cant find any more) that there was a higher spring set up for certain models. Anyone have any idea were I could find those springs?

With a 2002 that's  lowered or stiffened too much, it becomes pretty dangerous when you have TOO much fun.

Classic example would be running out of rear shock travel mid- corner...

Might be dead by the time you get that car 100% completed Heist. ;)

 

John just recently got his box flared inka car on the road, 15 years later.  Good thing he went with "traditional" styling. 

I'm not a fan of "100%"  and 02 in one sentence. The 02 is a progression project that grows with my skill/knowledge, but yeah I would say road worthy this year. It has only been three years ;)

I'd say that car isn't stanced, but it does have far too big rims..;)
