I see you notched the front frame rails, smart!  I will probably end up doing the same thing to get my S14 in from the bottom.  The header and the steering box hit the flange on top of the front frame rail on my 1600.

We will be taking care of that steering column for sure, thank u brother. I think we are using a steering box out of a Mazda Miata so should fit :))

Isn’t Mazdas rack in front of the subframe? What struts/knuckles are you going to use?

I’ll check on the location of the rack as I am not too sure. And haven’t decided on the struts yet

Remember to weld those frame rails where lip has been moved. There used to be spot welds.

This is going to be awesome! How does the ZF fit? Is it an 6HP or 8HP45 (or 51)? Excited to see this one come together.

Thanks Peter….the transmission will be a European 6 speed out of a 430i. The rear diff is also from 430i, rear end will need to be customized and control arms will be shortened as the diff is wider. Custom drive shaft etc :))) this should be a monster
