Just Sharing,  Not For Sale.   I can't believe that I still have these. Entry Step Mouldings. 

Anyone have a set or seen them before. This is the only set that I have seen.

I had a set of these on my first 02. Didn’t know they were an accessory until recently. Most people would say something like, “Oh, that’s interesting... haven’t seen that before” or “What did the PO do there?”

I have a set also .. but i noticed  you have to drill holes to install them ?? So i just put them on the shelf ..

I didn't know what they were until recently some guy on the Q started looking for accessories and printed the accessory manual.  I saw them and went Oh!  I have a pair of those.  Almost tossed them at least a dozen times.

Yeah, the drilling holes thing is why I didn't use them.

Maybe that was me? I found a set of these that were NOS. My car was just painted and the body shop is looking for the best way to keep the moisture out installing them. Very cool bits!

Notice the '02 trunk picture with the trunk carpet does not have the gray sideboards. Did they have them on '73s to '76s? Yet '68 to '72s don't? Inquiring minds would like to know.

As far as I know, all 1600/2002 models came with the side panels

I would glue them to the top of the door sill and even glue on the pop rivet heads.
