Roundel font - opinions sought

I know this might be like asking what color socks I should wear but I'm interested in the FAQ opinions.

 

im buying some track magnetic decals (18" white roundels) and I'm seeking your opinion regarding which font I should order for my number.

Have a look at the vintage race photos thread. Lots of inspiration there.

Pick something that's readable--both your pit crew and the officials would like to be able to read your numbers...

 

Helvetica Neue, Amcap, Swiss 921 if you need narrow numbers to fit in a small space (3 numbers, for example).
