engine and drivetrain Saw This Tii For Sale Newburgh Ny

Saw this today in a car lot in Newburgh, NY.  Couldn't check much.  Engine dirty, Exterior wasn't rusty (I didn't get under it) and interior was ok...

 

If anyone interested I can get the name of the place it is parked at.  Last I was told he wanted 6K and would take 5K.  It's been sitting for a long time and I'm sure negotiable...

 

Figured someone may want to save it.

Hmmm- left eye is sealed beam and right is euro? Looks good in that pic!

I have no idea how long it has been there but it seems to be sunk in the ground a bit and there is algae growing on the passenger side.

I would suspect that it saw (at least) the last harsh winter from where it is now.

Still looks very complete and unmolested.

Someone should get on that fast.

This is a neat car ('72 perhaps?), but it should be taken back to original and that would mean a Sahara? color I believe. So the new owner would really need to appreciate that detail amongst others...

Doesn't appear to have a sun roof. That could be a good thing, considering it's been stored outside.

Looks like it was cared for at some point, fenders were replaced, note US spec turn signals without front reflectors. Like the Amco bar too. Hope it is salvageable and sees the road again.

On closer inspection, I too think it's white (chamonix).  Also, would be nice to see the drivers side and rear-end to complete the whole story....

It appears to be parked, without wheels, on an unpaved surface, in the snow belt, probably for years. Inspect carefully!

It is def Chamonix and was marked that on a label under the hood.

They get serious snow (and salt) in the Newburgh area, so keep that in mind ...
