steering and suspension Swaybar Bushing Mount Bolts

So...how in the heck are you supposed to get the two bolts out that hold the swaybar bushing mount down??  I can't seem to get a socket in there at all!!

Didja try a box-end wrench?  I just swapped out front sway bars last fall and don't remember having particular difficulty removing the bolts that hold the mounting brackets/bushings in place...I had to do a little creative grinding on the new bushings and the brakets to make that 22mm bar fit, and had lots of trouble getting the bar in place between crossmember and nose panel, but not those mounting bolts...

Once you do get them off, I'd replace them with a hex head bolt - much easier to get an Allen key in there.

I have a feeling he is referring to the rear mounting clips. If so, I believe using either a box wrench or 1/4" drive socket and racket my help.

I'll put more effort in today - yesterday was spend disassembling the struts and cleaning years of build up off parts and pieces.  The PO decided to just keep refilling fluids instead of fixing leaks !!!

Can you post a photo of what is fighting you? Every bolt and nut will fight you, but you WILL win in the end.

Got it and man do I feel dumb.  I didn't realize that the bolt was an allen one - I thought the bushing holder/mount was attached with a conventional hex bolt at the top.  With all the grime I couldn't see shite.  A little convincing with the wrench and a hammer broke it loose.
