What Shoes Should I Wear Today?

Stu

Recommended Posts

hi stu,

can i ask you if you have done any brake upgrades or lowered your suspension at all?

I'd like to understand what is compatible with the 15" wheel set up.

Thanks,

Emmet

I have IE springs and my car is lowered about 1 inch.  No rubbing or other issues with these wheels.  Brakes are stock.

I always do it right the second time.

Those are the Rota center caps. I bought a set of Alpina emblems from Rogers Tii and glued them on. The Rota cap emblem is recessed a bit, and I made little rounds out of styrofoam and glued them onto the Rotas. Then, there was more or less a flat surface to glue the Alpina emblems on. It's been 7 months now, and they haven't fallen off yet!

Hi Stu,

Are these the emblems you picked up from Rogers Tii?  these appear to be stickers?  Or are they actual 'roundels'?

Emmet, no those are not the ones--those are just stickers.  The ones I used are actual roundels--here they are:

Of course, they are more expensive, but they are nice!

I can't explain why I think these steelies so good, but I do.  I'd love a set in 15x6.

Have to be custom made :( I looked into it not too long ago...
